Help me![edit]

Please help me with...I'm working on my first practice article in a personal sandbox (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Wpulley/sandbox). I'm using the drop-down template you fill out for creating inline sources. I've encountered two problems on my first source I've cited. First, I'm citing one article within a book. I've tried filling in the access date two different ways, both 13 May 2015 and May 13, 2015. However, when I click "save page," I get the following error message in red print where the access date should show up-- "Check date values in: |date= (help)"

Another issue: My source is an article within a book. I only see a box for title. How do I see an individual article as well as the the title of the book the individual article or chapter shows up in.

Thanks,

Hi Wpulley, here are your answers.
  1. You've confused date= with accessdate=. It's the date parameter that is formatted improperly (it shouldn't have any commas).
  2. If you click the "Show/hide extra fields" button at the bottom of the refToolbar, it will give more input options.
If you want more help, stop by the Teahouse, Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. Primefac (talk) 21:58, 20 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
