American writers[edit]

Hi Writersblock2222. I noticed you've been creating a lot of articles about American writers. Would you mind adding the [[Category:American writers]] tag to articles which qualify? Thanks, and happy editing! --Alan Au 06:51, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I've made some changes and tried to take out the unimportant stuff. Is it ok now? Thank you!

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought i was supposed to remove them after i made the changes. Thanks for telling me, I'm new to this.

  • Hi Writersblock2222. I assume your response is about MFA Program for Poets & Writers? Good job cleaning up the article! Generally, you shouldn't remove deletion notices from articles; the notices will contain instructions for disputing the nomination. You can find more details on the WP:AFD and WP:SPEEDY pages. In this case, you're probably okay; I personally don't think it qualified as a speedy candidate, and the "prod" tag doesn't have the same restrictions as regular deletion and speedy-deletion tags. Oh, and to get you started, the WP:WELCOME page has some tips on using Wikipedia. Happy editing! --Alan Au 07:56, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

HELP![edit]

Hi, I see you have done a ton of edits for UMass' MFA program- wondering if you might help out at Brown's. We're on the verge of deletion but don't really have LESS than UMass' page, but for whatever reason, we're being targeted. Atrivedi (talk) 22:37, 29 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
