Polish villages[edit]

Hi @XaVi PROpolak, yes I've been doing some work on Polish villages. I think this is an example of the problems we get when articles are created by a bot (or by bot-like human editing) using a database - there is no analysis at all of whether they are worth including in an encyclopaedia before they are added here. Also, often the source is often misunderstood - in this case because "locality" and "town" (two very different things - a "town" is a substantial community larger than a village, a "locality" is just a location) are both miejscowość in Polish, people think that anything listed as a miejscowość should be included here. I don't know why, but the wiki system translated "locality" into "towns". On the Polish Wikipedia, we are discussing the removal of many articles about localities that still have their equivalents in the English one. In fact, you have a big problem if these articles are translated and transferred to the English Wikipedia. It would be a good idea to discuss it in a cafe.
