January 2015[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm SummerPhD. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Glengarry Glen Ross (film), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please do not change other users' comments on article talk pages. In any case, comments on a talk page are not in-line cites necessary for verification. SummerPhD (talk) 23:49, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Typical Wikipedia procedure is outlined at WP:BRD. You boldly added the film/IMDb/NYT as sources for your claim. You were reverted. Discussion -- not you restoring the material then discussing it -- should follow. A strong case for asking to remove Chicago while it was being discussed could be made and I would have agreed -- and would agree -- to it. - SummerPhD (talk) 16:35, 24 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable sources[edit]

Thank you for your thoughtful comments on the reliable sources message board. I obviously got buried here, but appreciate the many folks who took the time to comment and to think about the issues. Formerly 98 (talk) 20:41, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Heyo! Regarding the comment in your edit summary, references would be fantastic!!! Please add wherever you can. :-) --Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 06:15, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Zackmann08. Wow, that was quick. Given the lack of references elsewhere in the article, I imagined that nobody would take me up on the offer. OK, I will do so as soon as I get a chance. May I ask, do you have a particular interest or are you just generally in favor of references like a good Wikipedian? ─Xanthis (talk) 06:31, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
To be clear, I'm not saying that without a reference your addition will be reverted... As you pointed out, that page has almost no references. I am just always in favor of using references. :-) But my interest lie in the realm of firefighting in general. Hope you are well! Ping me with any questions.
P.S. You may find {{u}} useful in the future. Instead of having to type [[User:Zackmann08|Zackmann08]] you can just do {{u|Zackmann08}} --Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 06:51, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
