Welcome![edit]

Some cookies to welcome you! :D

Welcome to Wikipedia, Xeos! I have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

TribalWar[edit]

Hi there. The article you created, Tribalwars, has been redirected to the pre-existing article TribalWar, as has the corresponding talk page. Cheers and happy editing! - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 16:07, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Tribalwars. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you.--Cyrus Andiron 16:09, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article restore and renamed[edit]

Upon further examination, I see a difference between TribalWar.net and Tribal Wars (game). The newly restored and renamed article must still have its notability proven. Care to help out? - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 16:15, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

HELP! I find alot of Google links, but most game sites are blocked by my work ISP. I need someone else to research notability. - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 16:26, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I completely disagree with the Wikipdedia policy that pages like this should be deleted. Just so you know. Xeos (talk) 03:35, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"A few seconds" at McCollough effect[edit]

Hello. You removed the weasel words tags at McCollough effect in "for a few seconds", since there is no exact amount of seconds. I agree. However, I think tht maybe it would be good to cite an estimate of the time needed, for example, "about fifteen seconds"; since the exact amount does not exist, but maybe an approximate amount does exist. If you agree and can contribute with approximate times, please do so. Alfredo (T.a.lk) 04:31, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The strength is a function of the exposure time, but also varies by subject. 3 minutes is roughly sufficient for people to be able to see something. There isn't really any published research on this because generally the desire is to get a strong, easily measurable effect, in which case researchers typically use 5-10 minutes. Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Turbo Core, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Turbo Core and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. GorillaWarfare talk-review me! 14:26, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
