If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. A request, and advice[edit]
Please refrain from adding copyrighted images to the wikipedia. Although we do require images for illustration, this does not mean that you should simply upload images that you have found on the internet, or that you have on your computer as they pose legal problems if they are copyrighted, as motion pictures and television shows unanimously are.

For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
