Public domain resources[edit]

I noticed you added a pixmac link to the Wikipedia:Public domain image resources page but when I check you basic licence at http://www.pixmac.com/page/licence, I see that user are not allowed to modify images and no commercial use is permitted. That clearly means that the, so called free, images are not public domain images which are freely licenced with no restrictions of any kind, So I have removed your link. Please do not add it unless the images are truly in the public domain. Thanks ww2censor (talk) 17:23, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, ww2censor. Every picture in the Free category http://www.pixmac.com/free-pictures has own licence published at the picture detail page (the page you mentioned says nothing about free images) e.g. http://www.pixmac.com/picture/anthurium+bloom/000051512433. When you would check that, you will see the CreativeCommons icon with a link to (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0/deed.en). Here is clearly explained, that all the pictures are under public licence. That's why I added the link to your resource. Xvlcm12 (talk) 12:18, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
