Reinsertion of non-reliable source[edit]

Citing to a commercial website is generally bad form. This source isn't acceptable under WP:RS. I've told you this politely [1], and you went ahead and reinserted it, leaving a rather nasty edit summary [2]. I direct your attention to WP:CIVIL, WP:RS and WP:V. I've already suggested that you go to WP:RSN to request an opinion on your source if you disagree with me. - Jehochman Talk 08:53, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

YAM, please don't keep adding that link. Several administrators have reviewed the link and we all agree with Jehochman that the link is not suitable under our reliable sources guideline. I also note that you have continued posting rants on Jehochman's talk page after he asked you to stop and directed you to a more appropriate forum. Please stop doing this or you may be blocked for disruption. I recommend that you leave the link on the article's talk page and if another neutral editor feels it is appropriate, they will add it for you. If you continue edit warring, however, you will most likely find that one of us blocks you for disruption. Thanks, Sarah 10:53, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

24 hour block[edit]

This account has been blocked from editing for 24 hours for violations of WP:SPAM and WP:CIVIL. See WP:BLOCK for details. DurovaCharge! 14:09, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 17:05, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

48 hour block[edit]

For resumption of the same behavior that caused the previous block. DurovaCharge! 17:12, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of "Headland Multimedia"[edit]

A page you created, Headland Multimedia, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is obvious advertising or promotional material.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 15:30, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Jeff, please see Latitude Group and Cisco as descriptive articles. YAM (talk) 15:35, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Headland Multimedia[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Headland Multimedia, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Conflict of interest[edit]

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for businesses. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. --A. B. (talkcontribs) 13:11, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Drone insurance moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Drone insurance, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
