License tagging for Image:Janaganamana.ogg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Janaganamana.ogg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:08, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

I have changed the tag on that file based on what you had mentioned in the description page. Please make sure that the new license is consistent with your wishes. If you have any questions please let me know or ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. - cohesion 01:05, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there. There is an ongoing discussion at Talk:Rajinikanth regarding the inclusion of his name in the Kannada (and other language) script. Please take part in the discussion. Removing/editing/reverting constantly is not going to get us anywhere. Please do join in, if you feel that his name in the Kannada script should not be included in the article. aJCfreak yAk 23:47, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. You've been more understanding and co-operative than most editors. :) Anyways, I do know that there is a lot of enmity and rivalry between Tamilians and Kannadigas. Personally, I'm neutral. Or rather, I try to remain as neutral as I can be. Like I responded to the anon IP on my page - if there is valid reason enough to include Rajkumar's name in the Tamil script on his article, then by all means, please do so. :) I have nothing against you personally. Like I said on the talk page, too many times these two communities have clashed. And this is the second time I've been on the side accused as Kannadigas (the first was at Talk:Bangalore) and that just blew me off! Sorry. :) Hope you won't take my outburst too personally. Continue your great work. Wikipedia needs guys like you. Happy Wiki-ing! aJCfreak yAk 23:58, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes there are these classifications on several pages which is actually not even the main reason this warrants addition. Unless you can come up with a reason that delegitamizes the fact he calls himself a Sufi muslim, or the sources that have printed this, this will be readded. At wikipedia, we include reliably cited information where readers then decide what to take from that info. Thanks Clubover (talk) 16:41, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
