Guitar[edit]

See you are a guitarist and Zeppelin and Satriani fan.

Thought you might be interested in some guitar education:

Glad you like them. I've been playing guitar 21 years and have a considerable knowledge of guitarists and rock blues and jazz and Paco is the most impressive guitarist I've ever seen. I'd agree with you on Satriani being one of the best electric players though and he's also my favourite out of all of the shredders.♦ Dr. Blofeld 11:33, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

First of all check out this!

Here's some more of my favourites aside from ones you've probably heard of. I wish I had discovered them at your age but I was too engrossed in metal and heavy rock at your age to recognize the genuis of some of the classical and jazz guitarists who in my opinion smoke rings around most of the guitarists in Rolling Ston'es top 100.

Signature[edit]

I have a signature that I use, but when I copy and paste it in the signature box and tick the Wiki markup box it says there is something wrong with my HTML tags. However, simply copying and pasting the code for the signature works fine, as you can see below. Why is this?

Yellowman94TalkI am the yellow man. That's what they call me, cos that's what I am.

You are missing the quotation marks, so when it is added this is what the code should look like:
[[User:Yellowman94|<span style="color:#FBB117">'''Yellowman94'''</span>]][[User talk:Yellowman94|<span style="color:#488AC7">Talk</span>]] • <span style="color:#E42217">'''I am the yellow man. That's what they call me, cos that's what I am.'''</span>
However when the quote marks are added back, the signature is then over the size limit. You need to do some pruning since the signature limit is 255 characters and the preference is for a much shorter length, please refer to Wikipedia:SIG#Length. --Shearonink (talk) 01:01, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
To clarify - adding the quote marks back resolves the html errors complaint in your preferences, but doing that causes other issues - for one, it doesn't actually fit as a result. Another problem is that it can also make the effect not appear at all - that's why the tags have to be moved inside the links. And since <font> is a deprecated tag (as in, not in use anymore, and not supported at all by some browsers these days), you really need to use <span> tags instead, as you already had for the red bit. This has all been resolved in the example, mind, so you basically just need to take that and shorten it as Shearonink said. Hope that helps. (The fix may have been a little more than Shearonink realised, so I wanted to be clear about what's going on with it.) Isarra (talk) 01:29, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The file File:Yellowman94 and AB.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Orphaned userspace-only file.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ~ Rob13Talk 14:52, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
