May 2011[edit]

Hello Yosephbasha. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Tactician, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. re. "I am the artists manager." [1]. Nobody owns a page on Wikipedia; pages are only protected if they are subject to ongoing vandalism from multiple users. Please read the business FAQ  Chzz  ►  03:17, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Tactician. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you.  Chzz  ►  03:28, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

why is the page being deleted.. it verified by real references? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yosephbasha (talkcontribs) 03:31, 2 May 2011

  • When you leave messages, please remember to "sign" your name, by putting ~~~~ (four tilde signs) at the end. This will add your name, and the date and time. You can also do this by clicking the 'sign' button, pictured to the right.
  • The most important thing for an article is, to show "notability" through "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the source" - such as, newspapers, books, or other sources with a "reputation for fact-checking and accuracy" - see WP:VRS. Clearly, a press release is not an independent, reliable source.
  • The deletion discussion will continue for around 7 days, and you are welcome to comment there, but please read some of the links provided; in particular, the business FAQ.
Thanks,  Chzz  ►  03:36, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The publishing company is not independent; it has a vested interest in promoting this individual - and so do you. Please see WP:VRS. Show us e.g. 3 newspaper stories about this person - and not PR - and then we might have enough for a verifiable article.  Chzz  ►  07:36, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
