Randall Bell's book[edit]

Hi, I wanted to let you know that I've removed the references to Bell's book from Battle of the Alamo. The text that was inserted into the article did not appear to be relevant to Bell's qualifications as an economist. For historical facts and analysis, the article should rely on information from books written by historians, and/or books published by a university press. Textbooks are generally not considered great resources for many articles, as the information in them is often not as developed as a full-length book written to dig into that particular event. I noticed that all of your contributions appear to have been adding this book to articles. I can't tell from them if you are the author in question or just a fan of the book. If you are the author, I encourage you to read the conflict of interest guidelines to ensure that you don't accidentally get yourself into trouble. Either way, it may also help you to read the reliable sources guideline. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me or any other experienced Wikipedian. Good luck, and happy editing! 1964 Alaska earthquake[edit]

My apologies for not getting back to you sooner. I looked at your addition to 1964 Alaska earthquake. I think this is likely an appropriate use of the source. Good job! I hope you are finding Wikipedia a little less intimidating - let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to respond in a more timely manner.
