Thanks

Thanks for the help. Actually I was gonna ask you to delete the message anyway cuz a friend of mine just told me it was false.

Sorry for the trouble.

Thanks for reverting the userpage vandalism. Much appreciated! (I don't count Huggle as editing per se since it's just mindless clicking of a dark box - reverting via your watchlist is far more flattering. That, and you've done it more than once.) Recognizance (talk) 00:30, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

RE: GA

You read my mind, I was thinking of taking a look at that one, since I'm a moderate anime fan. Right now my schedule for this week is going to be EXTREMELY hectic, due to finals and exams and papers coming up, and I have two other GA reviews to do, so I'll definitely do the article. I just won't have any time to breathe until Thursday, and I may be able to take a look at your nomination on Saturday or so. Maybe even earlier if I can find some free time. How does that sound? :) CarpetCrawlermessage me 05:34, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

OK, I might as well put the GA Review template by the nomination while I'm here for a quick break. :) CarpetCrawlermessage me 19:55, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
OK, I'm starting the review right now. :) CarpetCrawlermessage me 05:48, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

Himeka

Question: Why did you remove the article about Himekas Asu e no Kizuna single? I though it was nicely done but now it's just gone! Why?!

Megami no Hikari —Preceding unsigned comment added by Megami no Hikari (talkcontribs) 21:35, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

Regardless of if you think it was "nicely done" the page fails WP:MUSIC. So I redirected it to Himeka. 月 (Moon)暁 (Sunrise) 21:40, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

Excuse me but most Koda Kumi pages are done the same way... ~MNH~ —Preceding unsigned comment added by Megami no Hikari (talkcontribs) 09:41, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

I'm not editing most of Kumi Koda's pages, so bring it up isn't going to change anything. Anyway if you read WP:MUSIC, it said something along the lines that a song that has charted is notable so just wait until it gets released and I'll undo the redirect. And sign your post by using ~~~~. 月 (Moon)暁 (Sunrise) 10:21, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

It's very clear that the article fails WP:NSONGS. In order for the article to stay, you would have to prove that the song charted on a music any music chart, other than iTunes. Read WP:GOODCHARTS, if "Glass of Water" charted on any of those then it'll have a chance of sticking around. 月 (Moon)暁 (Sunrise) 12:50, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Did you use a tool to place Japanese Symbols into the article List of Case Closed episodes? If not, could you perhaps do the same great editing you did to the other season titles as well? Thank you. DragonZero (talk) 02:23, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

Hi.

Hi. In the subject you are referring to I have an edit war with Legolas, who has reverted an edit more than 3 times, when there is a consensus against it. I firmly think that he is a protegé here, but should be blocked. He insists on maintaining the song "My Love", that obviously doesn't exits, when all of the other users want to remove it. He should be warned about it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Saviour09 (talkcontribs) 12:49, 3 June 2009 (UTC) (edit conflict)::You haven't shown that there is consensus against it. Hi. A consensus regarding this had been reached days back at User talk:Kww. Thsi user and its sockpuppet IP is continuously reverting inspite of that when the information in concern has been reported by a RS like Billboard and consensus was reached that it should be kept as a note. I will not revert the page but I guess this kind of vandalism needs to stop. PS I loved your work on the Japan FLs. --Legolas (talk2me) 12:53, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

ColScott

This is far more serious than reverting a suspected sock puppet, this is reverting posts made by a confirmed, persistent and prolific sock puppet whose posts regarding myself and other editors have had to be oversighted and dealt with by Wikipedia beureautcrats on more than one occasion and has resulted in complaints filed with the state police in my home state. A WP:SSI isn't necessary, a post has already been made to WP:AN/I because the content the sock puppet posted on one of the talk pages consists of definitive prove of the account being a sock and it is being dealt with. This is precisely what I was advised to do the last time this editor showed up here and proceeded to post my personal information on his privately operated website - revert posts on sight and immediately post a notice atn WP:AN/I. This is a bit beyond the routine sock master behavior, the editor in question has been banned for life from Wikipedia because of off-WP harassment and outing of editors here on his websites. Again/Yui

Hi, MS. I like the work I generally see you doing on the various JPop articles. Let's discuss and get consensus on handling Again (Yui single) on the pertinent talk page before deleting/blanking/redirecting, okay? TJRC (talk) 17:35, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

It's nice that you want to achieve consensus about "Again" but WP:NSONGS aka WP:MUSIC is very clear. If the article fails it has to be redirected to the parent article. MS (Talk|Contributions) 17:39, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
Yes, let's discuss whether those assumptions are correct. TJRC (talk) 17:41, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Just a heads-up

Hey.  :) Just an FYI: for statements that are most likely true but don't have sources (re: Shinee's recent #1), it may be better just to add a {{fact}} to such a statement rather than removing it completely. Of course, if something is just rumoured or else completely false, you should remove it, but in cases like these, all it needs is a source, right?

If someone is going to add something to a article they have to prove what they add. I know about the {{fact}} tag already but it's up to them to prove the statement is true not another user. MS (Talk|Contributions) 18:43, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
(I totally forgot to sign my earlier statement. Sorry.) Granted, that's true, but for short statements that need sources, the fact tag would be just fine. That way, someone (like me) can go find a source. SKS (talk) 18:51, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

Cherrytree dispute

I do not see how it was needed, billboard is extremly reliable. Hey Boys and Girls (Welcome to the Show…) ° 06:13, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

What do you mean? No one ever said Billboard was never reliable. Reliability and nobility is two difference things. The Cherrytree Sessions has to chart in order for it to have its own article, if it hasn't charted then it should be merged into Lady Gaga's article or whatever article it would be best to merge into. And how is there a dispute? It's not like there is an argument or an edit war going on about it. MS (Talk|Contributions) 11:22, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
No point. Sockpuppetry reverted the edit again. --Legolas (talk2me) 12:44, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Please moderate David Archuleta's wikipage.

A persistent hater from this IP; 124.104.18.247 is persistenly pasting false facts in David Archuleta's "Music Influence" page biased against Regine Velasquez. I kept on deleting his/her entry but keeps on putting it back. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LUO7AN (talkcontribs) 16:13, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

Can you (maybe with LUO's help) give me a list of all the IPs this vandal has used? If we're to do a rangeblock, we need to know the whole range. Daniel Case (talk) 02:47, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

Alright, this is going to take a little time to work out the extent of the rangeblock. I'll have to ask a checkuser to see if there are any legit users within the range (and it may be larger than that). I don't want to block the entire Philippines, if that's what would happen, this casually.

I see someone has already protected the page (that's what we should do first, actually). I will get down to calculating the rangeblock later if this doesn't work. Daniel Case (talk) 23:01, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

IP Interchanging

Please tell any legitimate administrator that many IP addresses have been interchanged. I haven't edited any article in this Wikipedia site and yet they are saying that I have edited all Regine Velasquez and David Archuleta pages. It is so weird. I don't even check their pages. That editor may have a new IP again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.104.26.207 (talk) 06:10, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

OH!

I am so sorry! I did it with intentions though. Reason is because Yukiko Okada's article does not resemble in anyway shape or form a Fan Site. Take a look at Selena's article, sure it may have more words but it has the same media content; Selena's article is not considered a fan page but yet Yukiko's is? Is this a racial thing?

Okada's page does resemble a fan site: "Yukiko loved to read books, especially comic books and she had talent to draw pictures". That information is not needed in an encyclopedia this ("Yukiko went to anything from a big major audition to an audition of the slightest talent recruitment, as she thought it was her chance for becoming a star") also. You are writing trivial information about her life and writing it in as the owner of a fan site would. I don't care about Selena's page because I don't really edit any pages that aren't Japanese related. Second, you are new so you may not know about being civil and not making personal attacks. Read it and follow it. It's funny that you would say "is this a racial thing?", seeing how the articles I have contributed to are JAPANESE articles. Take a look here. Only two of the good articles listed are Korean articles (Shinee and TVXQ) and one of them, TVXQ is active in Japan. And ALL of the DYK are JAPANESE articles. So it isn't "a racial thing". It's more of "I can't stand when fans start to edit their 'idols' articles and making it all fan-y". MS (Talk|Contributions) 22:24, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

ok i see

you know there is a major difference when you are actually the relative of the deceased japanese idol and want to tell her story for the public to get a better understanding of who she really is. I did not learn english to despute with stupid topics, so other articles display what interest a celeb has so they are not flagged as fan site so why this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by YukikoTV (talkcontribs) 22:28, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

Since you are related to her you maybe shouldn't be editing her page, see WP:COI. User:C.Fred has already explained why the page is tagged like a fan site. I don't know how the other pages look but Selena's article doesn't look like Yukiko's. She there is no reason to tag it as a fan site. 23:27, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

Please moderate the Regine Velasquez page. So many false claims, there are no citations.

So many users in that page keep on putting false claims about Regine Velasquez' achievements and talent, to the point that they make up fake 'achievements' about her so-called 'reign'. Velasquez is not famous all over the world, she has not sold one million records all over Asia. They keep sensationalizing her page by writing over hyped and false claims such as having a 'palatial house', albums selling over 10X platinum, that Regine rejected the Miss Saigon role, and so much more. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.104.22.195 (talk) 22:47, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

NOW you want to ask for help? I find that to be a joke as you just vandalize the article every time you edit it. With that being said, I'll look into it. Just refrain from vandalizing the page and "reverting" edits as "vandalism". Also, stop posting user warnings on the talk of other users when they haven't done anything that warrants a warning. MS (Talk|Contributions) 23:27, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

I think you should also check out the user named Maoster. He keeps fighting users who keep putting constructive thoughts in Regine Velasquez sentences. He even changed the talk page since everyone in that talk page is discussing several issues about the removal of sourced and unbiased content. Cheers! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.104.16.229 (talk) 01:01, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

Strange prejudice

So you said to me that "The Brasil chart is not to be ANYWHERE in the article even if sourced". Sorry if you didn't liked it, but the Hot100Brasil is a 11 years old active chart. For me it sounds like discrimination, doesn't it?—Preceding unsigned comment added by Bezaaum (talkcontribs) Jun 13, 2009

Read about making personal attacks. It's not that I didn't "like it", but Wikipedia has rules and that need to be followed. WP:CHARTS happens to be a guideline and per the bad chart section listed there. The Brasil chart is not to be included. If you have a problem with that take it up with the members of WP:CHARTS, or the person who wrote it up User:Kww. MS (Talk|Contributions) 21:16, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

List of freestyle artists

I just saw that my article "List of freestyle artists", may be deleted. I think it's because I didn't cite it properly, and this is where I need help. I got some of the artists from the Wikipedia article "Freestyle Music", and others I got from the CD The Best Of Freestyle, as well as videos with such tags on YouTube.com. My other articles on artists have sources that include the tape or CD insert, which lists the place the music was recorded and mixed, record companies, personnel, dates, and members. How do I cite these sources?Wikimaniac8317 (talk) 00:16, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

It's not because you didn't cite it properly, it's because there is no context. Write a lead for it and I noticed you are using the following as sources: Wikipedia articles, "Linear", "Freestyle", www.discogs.com, Youtube.com, CD-Best Of Freestyle. I can tell you right now that other Wikipedia articles can't be used as sources, I know you are probably referring to the linear notes when you had put "Linear" but what is "Freestyle" suppose to mean? I guess www.discogs.com can be used as a source but the CD and YouTube are not cannot be. You also need to format the list better such as linking some of the artists and do not use "my article" again. Read WP:OWN, it'll tell you that no one "owns" a Wikipedia article even if it is one they created. I hope that helps you some. MS (Talk|Contributions) 00:38, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Note to God

Thank you for your repeated instructions

RE: I already told you YouTube cannot be used as a source due to possible copyright violations. Also do not re-add online stores and the following chart: Hot Digital Songs and Hot Digital Tracks. Per WP:CHARTS component charts are not to be used. MS

First of, there are no youtube sources in there. Please check the references thoroughly. If you find a youtube reference, please send it to me so I can verify.

Second. There are no online stores in there, as well as hot digital songs and hot digital tracks in the chart. If you can see one, please indicate.

Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.177.175.33 (talk) 03:10, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

What repeated instructions? You re-added fan cruft, a false track list and you included online sales chart such as iTunes and Amazon, which is not suppose to be in the article per WP:CHARTS and are online stores. MS (Talk|Contributions) 03:31, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

I already deleted the false track list, there are no charts of itunes and amazon in there, I followed the WP charts, deleted some words to eliminate "fancruft". now tell me if there still are fancruft.

And please fix your instructions next time so as to save time for all of us. For instance, you said i cant use youtube as a source, which i didnt really use, and you said we cant use hot digital songs and hot digital tracks, which i already deleted and is not on the table any longer, and just found out that it can be used for as long as it is not in the table. Is it that hard to type in the correct instructions??? it seems like your just copying your instructions over and over. thats very inefficient. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.177.175.33 (talk) 04:19, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

You did not delete the false track list. If you did JoJo's version wouldn't be listed there. There still is fancruft, "Her emotionally packed performance, which brought the studio audience to their feet" and "young Filipina balladeer Charice". I mention YouTube one time (I think) so why do you keep bringing it up? Really? Where did it say it can be used as long as it's not in the table? Because articles such as "Boom Boom Pow" and "Just Dance" don't included them anywhere. It's a standard practice not to use them anywhere unless the song doesn't chart on the Hot 100. MS (Talk|Contributions) 04:43, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Like right now, you reverted it all over again without even reading it. Let me repeat, there are no charts from amazon and itunes in there. It just states that the song is released as a digital single through itunes and amazon but it doesn't say it ranked number 1 or number 10 million in both store's charts. no fancruft in there, no false tracklist, and no hot digital song and hot digital track in the table as per WP:charts. Do you even know your rules. It says it can be in the form of text. not just in the table??? "Billboard component charts should not be used in the tables, unless the song fails to enter the main chart, but appears on an airplay or sales chart. Charts pertaining to only one specific retailer (such as iTunes, Amazon.com or Wal-Mart) should not be used." [1] seriously? are you doing your job? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.177.175.33 (talk) 04:29, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, that part about iTunes and Amazon I didn't see, however, I did look at the rest see above for the fancruft and false track list. These aren't "my" rules. These are Wikipedia's rules. See above, no where on that page does it say it can be used in the form of text. Job? What job? I wasn't aware that editing an article is a job. Oh 'fore I forget sign your post using ~~~~ okay? MS (Talk|Contributions) 04:43, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Okay 1. JoJo's track list isnt in there anymore. 2. How can "young Filipina Balladeer Charice" be a fancruft. first of all... She's young, second, she's Filipina, third, she's a balladeer, and fourth HER NAME IS CHARICE. how can that be a bias fancruft statement? 3. Also, her performance was emotionally packed and she received a standing ovation long before thes ong was over. Im just stating facts here im not exaggerating. 4. you mentioned youtube several times. not just one time. and you mentioned it over and over and over again even though there are no youtube sources in there. 5. And no where in that page also does it say component charts cannot be used in the form of text. thats like so easy to understand.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.177.175.33 (talk) 05:01s, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Balladeer makes it fancruft. No where in the article is it say she is a balladeer nor does her own article say that. That is basically what a fan thinks. The source provided doesn't say any of that. For the last time I mention it once and that was when you were using it as a source. As I said it is standard practice by ALL of the editors of such pages not to add those charts to the article. That's like so easy to understand also. Also sign your posts ~~~~. MS (Talk|Contributions) 05:28, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

First of all, In the article of beyonce's single ladies: it says "With strong digital sales of 204,000 "Single Ladies" topped the Hot Digital Songs chart" [2] So definitely its OKAY to put it in the text for as long as its not in the charts table. Second, i removed balladeer just because you think balladeer only comes from a fan's perception. Which i think is just too stupid since the song itself is BALLAD. Third, all the sentences are original. And fourth. yes you can put the copyright singer of the song even if the singer is not the first one to sing it. Just like Beyonce's "If I were a Boy." "If I Were a Boy" is a pop song performed by American R&B singer Beyoncé Knowles. [3] she's not the first one who sang it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.177.175.33 (talk) 06:39, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Read below. Kww is the person who came up with WP:CHARTS. Just because the song is a ballad it doesn't mean she is a balladeer, so that is from a fan's perception. This sentence: "Note to God" is partly an emotional prayer which lyrics consists of conditions in what one would write in a letter to God, was not as you claim a original sentence until you edit it. The difference is BC Jean's version was never released. JoJo's was. MS (Talk|Contributions) 06:52, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Component charts

Usually not. If there is something truly unusual (first song to stay number one on Hot 100 Airplay for six months, or something like that), then that deserves mention. If it's just "entered at 42, rose to 11, stayed for 9 weeks", then no.—Kww(talk) 05:50, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

I am not, nor have I ever been, in an edit war. I understand the three-revert rule and I also understand that I am attempting to correct misinformation. Considering you are doing the same exact thing, do not threaten me with banning me from editing. Nothing I am putting up is vandalism or attempting to engage in an edit war. Benniebop1991 (talk) 19:51, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

No one ever said you vandalized the page. You are engaging in an edit war with me and I with you. It's a fact looking at history of the page. No one is threatening you, I was simply letting you know what would happen if you reverted again. The same would happen to me. The information on the page is correct Misono does rock not J-pop. So take your bad faith somewhere else. Thanks. MS (Talk|Contributions) 20:16, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
I did not engage in an edit war. If you would actually read the section "What is not edit warring," you would see that we both have different views on her music. Don't say that I don't listen to her music because I was when I was editing the page. Yes her music has a rock element to it but so does Ayumi Hamasaki's music. Do you label her a rock artist too? I never said that all Japanese singers were J-pop artists, just that Misono was one. Just because she was in a band doesn't mean she performs only rock music. The fact that three of her singles were labeled a "rock trilogy" also hints at the fact that most of her music isn't rock. You did bold the font when you typed it, that's why it appeared that way on my page. And I am assuming good faith since I am only attempting to publish the correct information. The same goes for the This is the One page. Benniebop1991 (talk) 21:51, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
I know we have different views never said we didn't. Again, I did not bold anything. See the template page. That's how the template gets posted and I never typed it. It's an automatic message that I posted with the help of Twinkle. You are not assuming good faith because you claim I am threatening you, when I never did that. I just left you a message that tells you what would happen if you reverted again. And as for This Is the One, the difference in the track list is not needed. There is a difference between correct information and trivial information. Say that x, y and z are tracks 1, 2 and 3 on this countries release of the album is trivial. It has no importance to the article. MS (Talk|Contributions) 22:13, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

HELLO???

What are you doing? This is a useful page. Entertainer91 (talk) 03:44, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

The page maybe useful but it does not belong on Wikipedia. You are basically promoting the upcoming shows and per Wikipedia's guidelines advertising is not allowed. Also there is no sources on the page. How is one to know if what you added is true? MS (Talk|Contributions) 03:59, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
Are you Mr. King of Wikipedia? Entertainer91 (talk) 04:27, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
No. I'm just one of Wikipedia's humble servants. MS (Talk|Contributions) 04:32, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Through

You know, I thought that "through" was a prepositional phrase and does not get capitalized in article titles, particularly if the subject matter does not bother to capitalize it.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 11:01, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Also, if you cite the aspect of WP:MOS-JA where it says that the capitalizations are designed for the Japanese audience, the artist's English language website uses the capitalization on the Wikipedia article.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 11:17, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

I wasn't citing that when I moved "through" to "Through". Look at the edit history and you'll see what I cited. Is there a reason you reverted my edit and recapitalized the song titles and the artists? MS (Talk|Contributions) 12:18, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
I generally disagree when it comes to changing the stylization of song titles (among other things). I won't bother with the artist names (because the redirects are best to be avoided), but I would prefer that on this series of articles that capitalizations, tildes, etc. be retained.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 12:41, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
It doesn't matter if agree or disagree with it. WP:MOSJAPAN is an official guideline and the article falls under it. So it needs to be followed. MS (Talk|Contributions) 18:56, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

B. Balamanigandan

I dispatched that article to where it belongs. I also closed the AFD. Cheers Manning (talk) 12:25, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Okay, thank you. MS (Talk|Contributions) 12:28, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

I just created a page for local bands by state. The bands I listed are for the state of California, mostly from Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, and Moorpark, and one from Queens, New York, from the 1960s, my dad's band. I encourage everyone to add their local bands to this article.Wikimaniac8317 (talk) 20:39, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel

Hi - you messaged saying that I shouldnt edit this page without a reference.

The fact is that the confirmed tracks section is wrong there are two tracks on there "100 Percent" and "I Want To Know What Love is" that are not confirmed and no reference is sighted for these.

The tracks which have been confirmed are

Obsessed H.A.T.E.U Candy Bling The Impossible

I can site references for each of these from her twitter page but now cannot edit the page.

It is hypocritical to all 100% and IWTKWLI to remain on the confirmed tracks section without a citation and not allow Candy Bling or the Impossible to appear. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.138.222.166 (talk) 22:26, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Actually all the tracks are sourced. Read the section before the track list. If you want Candy Bling and The Impossible to be added onto the track list section you need to provide a source. MS (Talk|Contributions) 13:24, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

tvxq quote

Hahahahaha....I'll do my best.

It has something to do with dongbangshinki and the Tokyo Dome, right? I can't give you an exact translation, but the gist of it is this:

  • it's a special/big achievement that TVXQ performed at the Tokyo Dome.
  • That the group had a full tour in Japan that ended at the Tokyo Dome (with two concerts???), with ~250,000 attendees through the tour, is an accomplishment that has only be done by a small number, and the fact that they achieved recognition and fame from the world's second largest music market speaks volumes about the group's success/achievements.

I think I'm around 90% correct on this. The only things that I can see that would be "wrong" with this is the exact wording (for example, success vs. achievement vs. goal). Hope that helps.  :) SKS (talk) 01:51, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Hello Again

I see on the page history "I'll give it a couple days"... Can you look over the revised article? I don't think there is any copyrighted information anymore. All of that has been deleted and I have wrote new paragraphs from the top of my head... Thanks. In-Correct (talk) 23:05, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

Thanks! :)

Thanks for letting me know about the discussion regarding me. Oh, and good job on all the j-pop articles! Tikkuy (talk) 12:29, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

External links on Kim Yu-Na's page

I just read the guideline on external links. I admit that I had not known that links to forums should be avoided. The guideline clearly provides that those links to forums "should be avoided," and it also provides that those links are NOT prohibited. I believe those links to the fan forums are acceptable and helpful. Thank you. --Chunwook (talk) 03:46, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

BoA

I'd be happy with just the English site. Would you? Otherwise, would you choose a type of dispute resolution method? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ronz (talkcontribs)

This isn't about what makes you or I happy. Since BoA is active in all three countries, all three websites stay. We can't just choose the English website just because it's in English. If you do not like that the foreign websites are linked in the article then go ahead and ask for a third opinion. MS (Talk|Contributions) 00:01, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
"This isn't about what makes you or I happy." That was not to be taken literally, but simply a saying to try to put a positive twist on the dispute. I'll take it to third. --Ronz (talk) 00:16, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Subpages about members of Girls' Generation

My affairs about three pages of Kwon Yuri‎, Choi Sooyoung‎, Im Yoona‎ are all removed by you as soon. I guess the reason for the guideline of Wiki.

Previously I made Boyz II Men‎ template and put it in each page about Boyz II Men‎.

But each pages of Boyz II Men‎ members are all too poor, incomplete, unsatisfactory, lacking to be qualified document for Wiki.

Why are you applying different principles, guidelines, manuals, rules to the articles that a Wikipedian toilworn worker wrote ???

What is the reason that the articles such as Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman, Wanya Morris, Michael McCary, are remained what are contrary to three pages of Kwon Yuri‎, Choi Sooyoung‎, Im Yoona‎ ???

Please answer me.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Kookyunii (talkcontribs)

The edit you made on Im Yoona was reverted because the main focus of the article is on her being an actress and not a singer as you can see just by looking at the article. Also the dablink was removed because that was the improper use of the template. Why am I applying the guidelines that a "Wikipedian toilworn worker wrote" you ask? There is a very simple reason for that and the reason being because those are the rules. Since I don't normally edit non-Asian articles I did not see the articles you created for the members of Boyz II Men. Yuri‎ and Sooyoung both fail WP:MUSIC and WP:ENTERTAINER. Yoona however does not fail WP:ENTERTAINER. She has appeared in various television shows and has won awards for them. Yuri and Sooyoung has not not. Both articles fail the standards set by both of the guidelines I have linked. Now, about the Boyz II Men articles as I already stated I don't normally edit non-Asian articles, so that's why they remained. Thank you for pointing them out but if you are expecting me to redirect them to Boyz II Men then don't hold your breath. If it's not non-Asian I really don't want anything to do with them. You, however, can redirect them yourself. Also please sign your posts by using the four tildes ~~~~. Lates, MS (Talk|Contributions) 21:56, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for your reply, I understand your position. When I wrote this paragraph here, I think I was upset a little, I apologize you. I intended to link here from Korean pages about "Girls' Generation". Korean pages about it have been created already. There are all articles for each members of Girls' Generation. The proofs are here. I wanna make the articles in the same way, regardless of a great deal of weight they are given. I wanna express my regret. Anyway I will accept your comments. Thank you for your service again. Bye.
P.S ... I'm sorry for unsigned a little while ago. -- Kookyunii (talk) 23:49, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
No problem. You didn't write anything rude so don't worry about. If my comment seems rude then I apologize. Lates, MS (Talk|Contributions) 02:00, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Deleted Page

i want to know why you delted my page. It took me a long time to write all of that and the excuse you gave was b.s. If you had taken the time to actually read the article you would see that person is a famous musician. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sakecity7 (talkcontribs) 01:43, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, but I didn't delete anything. I am not an admin so I don't have the tools to delete pages. And there is no such thing as "my page" on Wikipedia, see WP:OWN. Also, What page are you referring to because I have no idea what you are talking about. And please sign your posts using ~~~~. Lates, MS (Talk|Contributions) 02:00, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Well your name was at the end of the message and that is the one that i clicked on, If it wasnt you that deleted it then it was you that sent me that message so logically its you I will complain to. ANd I called it "my page" because I wrote it. I didnt claim to own anything. Now I see this website is junk anyway. You guys keep an article about cumshots: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cum_shot yet you delete my page within 5 minutes. Thats rediculous. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sakecity7 (talkcontribs) 14:16, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

The message was to notify you that the page was going to be deleted. I have no final say in whether the page is kept or not. Calling it your page because you wrote it is the same thing as claiming ownership of it. If you see that Wikipedia is junk then do not edit it if that is how you feel. Cum shot meets WP:N your article did not, there is nothing ridiculous about it. Once again, I did NOT delete the article an admin did. Coming to my page and complaining to me will get you nowhere because there is nothing I can do. If you want, go talk to the admin that deleted the page. The admin agreed that the article met the criteria for a speedy delete. And please sign your posts. MS (Talk|Contributions) 14:45, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Dont try to argue with me over semantics. It doesnt matter whether I called it "my page" or "the page that I wrote" because you get the point. I didnt edit an existing page, I took the time to create my own page and it was taken down and the message, AS I STATED BEFORE, had YOUR NAME at the end of end it whether you deleted it or not, the message was from YOU so it was YOU that I replied to. I'm already over it, I dont care about complaining to an admin. because that will get me nowhere but I dont appreciate your condescending tone or the fact that you tried to call me out on the ownership thing. So from now on, if you dont want people writing you messages like this one then don't put your name at the end of the deleted page messages. In fact, I had already received a notification on that from another person. I dont know who you are or what your little job is with this website but you need to tighten up if you want anyone to respect you at all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sakecity7 (talkcontribs) 17:45, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Actually it does matter whether you call it your page or not because saying stuff like that will get you blocked. All messages on Wikipedia are to be signed so I WILL NOT stop signing from any message and I really don't care what messages are left on my page. If I don't like them I'll just simply remove them, it's not a big deal. Did I post anywhere that I don't know why you are leaving me messages on my talk? No, I'm just telling you go talk to the admin because I can't help you. Also, if you don't care about complaining to the deleting admin and you have already received a message from an admin, why are you still stressing this? Just let it die. Whether people want to respect me or not is their problem not mine. And the term is lighten not tighten. Lates, MS (Talk|Contributions) 18:19, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Karol Meyer

Hello MS, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. I am just informing you that I declined the speedy deletion of Karol Meyer - a page you tagged - because: over 30 records and competitions won, includng national and international, is notable. It needs cleanup, not deletion. Please review the criteria for speedy deletion before tagging further pages. If you have any questions or problems, please let me know. KillerChihuahua?!?Advice 17:02, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

I never tagged it because the person was not notable. I tagged it as an advertisement because of how it is written. That's why I use {{db-g11}} and not {{db-a7}}. Lates, MS (Talk|Contributions) 18:19, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
I did in fact read the damn tag. I'm trying out a new script, and its being a little pita. Sorry if the post it left you made little sense. All that said, G11 is a poor speedy choice for biographies. Either they are notable, in which case the article needs copyediting for peacock phrasing, etc; or they are not, in which case tag for A7. KillerChihuahua?!?Advice 17:33, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
I never said you didn't read the tag. The post made sense, just why you chose to say that the article was notable is beyond me when I never even tagged it for not being notable. But I understand where you are coming from, thank you for replying. Lates, MS (Talk|Contributions) 18:19, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

DBSK

Hey man, run a google search on DBSK. It shows up 12x more than DBSG, in terms of the Korean acronym for TVXQ. I know it's incorrect, but it's rampantly prevalent. DBSK even redirects. But that's just me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.146.241.93 (talk) 23:31, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Sadly a Google search is not a reliable source. MS (Talk|Contributions) 23:42, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

I don't speak English. I don't understand You. You don't write to me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.27.141.102 (talk) 12:56, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Well if you don't speak English and can't understand me, then you should edit a Wikipedia in your native language, so you'll be able to understand the editors. And I find it hard to believe that you don't understand me after seeing the edit summaries you left. It seems like you have a good understanding of the English language. I would like. I use a translator. Translator often poorly translated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.27.144.74 (talk) 14:24, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Script

Hi, I noticed that you are using my script, and I thought I would let you know that I have split the script into two, namely User:Plastikspork/monobook.js/script.js and User:Plastikspork/date.js. If you would like to use both, you can just add

importScript('User:Plastikspork/monobook.js/script.js');

and

importScript('User:Plastikspork/date.js');

to your monobook.js. I also noticed that you pasted the entire User:Plastikspork/monobook.js/script.js into your monobook.js, which is fine, but is not really necessary unless you were planning to modify it. In other words, you could replace everything between the first line

importScript('User:Lightmouse/monobook.js/script.js');

and the umpteenth line

importScript('User:AzaToth/twinkle.js');

with the two importScript commands that I listed and it should work just the same as before. Let me know if you have any questions, comments, bug reports, suggestions, requests, or really anything. Thanks! Plastikspork (talk) 20:04, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
