I've done some edits on the article to show you what I mean. Hopefully this helps. By the way, I removed your message to me because you posted it on my userpage, not my talk page. When you want to communicate with another editor, make sure you're looking at their Talk page before adding a comment to the bottom! If you click directly on my username in my signature, that will take you to my userpage, but the link on (talk) right after that goes to my Talk page. Good luck with this article, and feel free to ask (you should be able to just hit the "reply" button on the end of this comment) if you have any more questions. -- asilvering (talk) 20:33, 10 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello again, sorry for my mistake last time.
I added new citations to the article in places where you mentioned they were needed.
I only have one more question regarding the three citations/reviews that you removed and said they are not full citations and I have to put an original link to the published review. Those three reviews are on the book´s back cover. How should I cite them if not with press website? If they cannot be used as reviews at all and I remove them completely, would the article still be publishable?
I appreciate your support. ZahraBonari (talk) 17:06, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@ZahraBonari You shouldn't cite back-cover reviews at all, if that's all they are - in that case, those aren't reviews at all, but "endorsements", a form of publicity/marketing. Basically, to get those, the publisher sends the book to some advance readers and asks them to write a short bit of praise to help sell the book. The reason we use reviews as one of the ways to show notability is because they show that people not affiliated with the author or publisher are noticing the book and writing about it, so cover endorsements don't help. What you're looking for is academic book reviews - these are stand-alone articles in academic journals. Those quotes on the book might be excerpts from academic reviews, though, in which case they can be used to demonstrate notability under WP:NBOOK. I would start looking in google scholar, or an academic library search (put the book title in quotation marks if you don't get obviously helpful results on the first try). -- asilvering (talk) 18:28, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your clarification. I took out the references to those three citations since they were not available on any other scholar websites. Nevertheless I think that the article has now enough reliable sources. You were a big help in this for me. Is it possible that you re-review it or should I wait until someone else comes across the article? ZahraBonari (talk) 20:14, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@ZahraBonari I think you might want to have another look at it? The very first footnote I checked (fn 11) still appears to be an endorsement blurb from the publisher website. Keep in mind that the purpose of the Wikipedia article is to explain who Mohaghegh is and what his scholarship is about, not to sell his books, so often these kinds of quotes aren't really all that useful to have in the article itself anyway. Reviews can be really useful for writing articles about academics and other authors, but don't worry about forcing quotes from reviews into the article if they don't really fit.
It might help to keep in mind that "demonstrating that the subject is notable" and "showing that the information in the article is verifiable" are two different things, though they do often overlap. The main reason this draft is being declined is "submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article" - that is, the references do not show that the subject is "notable". This person is an academic, so reviewers are looking to see if the references demonstrate one of these guidelines: WP:BASIC, WP:NPROF, or WP:NAUTHOR (this last one is typically passed by showing that the subject has written two or more books that pass WP:NBOOK). The sources that "show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article" don't need to be quoted, just present, somewhere. -- asilvering (talk) 02:05, 16 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello again,
@Asilvering Thank you so much for your clarification. I removed the footnote you mentioned. Could you please let me know if there is still anything I have to change? I appreciate you.

Hi there,
sorry to bother you again. It´s been 2 months now since I did the last edit on the article of Jason Mohaghegh. I followed your instructions and I am looking for a final resolution after nearly ten re-edits if that is possible. I apologize for reaching out to you one more time but there is no one else that I can contact at the moment, since you were the last person to take a look at the article.
I appreciate your help in resolving the problem! ZahraBonari (talk) 14:44, 17 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The draft still doesn't show that the subject is notable - can you provide more academic reviews of their books? And "Future studies program" still has no citations at all. -- asilvering (talk) 16:30, 17 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I followed your instruction again and found more academic reviews. I also removed the Future Studies Program part since I could not find any citations for it. Are my sources now reliable and independent? ZahraBonari (talk) 11:34, 21 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there,
As far as I know I have no external relationship with the subject I have written about. I know him as a philosopher and I read his books. Does Wikipedia consider this as a conflict of interest?
I also changed the sources you mentioned in the article for not being independent. I found more academic reviews. I hope the article looks better this time and my sources are reliable now. ZahraBonari (talk) 11:40, 21 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
