License tagging for Image:Reba Shahid.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Reba Shahid.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Crater Lake[edit]

Hi Zainubrazvi, the image you uploaded, Image:Crater_lake_oregon.jpg, is very nice. However, it is only 632 x 424 pixels. Do you have a higher resolution version that you would be willing to upload?

Thanks for your reply. The reason I asked about the date is that the photo is clearly a winter photo, and could not have been taken on July 17, 2006. I visited Crater Lake only 5 days earlier, on July 12, 2006, and there were only a few patches of snow left. The photo shows continuous and deep snow everywhere, so it was probably taken between November and April. Nikah 003.jpg - could you update someone's wrong description please?[edit]

Someone uploaded your image to commons describing it as

showing a poor indian Girl signing a 'nikahnama', the Muslim marriage certificate

I'm sure that you are not surprised that reading the image shows it says "Islamic Center of Irving", as in Irving, Texas, USA, and the certificate is on a Pizza Inn box.

Yet someone just changed one use of the image to say "An Indian marriage certificate".

Wiki Loves Monuments - Pakistan[edit]
