Zarbon trivia

IIRC, you were the one to source that Beckett bit to Zarbon right? The sentence where it says:

"In an issue of Beckett Anime, a Beckett magazine publication, Zarbon was voted as one of the top five greatest henchmen of all anime, and was the only character from Dragon Ball Z on the list.[1]"

It just crossed my mind that a minute rectification may need to be done. All we know is that he was the only guy from "Dragon Ball Z" on that list; does this mean that he is the only character from the franchise who Beckett ever mentioned? If so, let's amend "Dragon Ball Z" to "Dragon Ball" in order to avoid slight confusion. My apologies for being a little picky but, does this make sense to you? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 16:07, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, he is the only character from Dragon Ball, Z, and GT to be mentioned as being the best in the greatest henchman on the list. So yes, it would be wise to fixate to Dragon Ball there as its from the entire franchise. - Zarbon (talk) 15:10, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Non-Free rationale for File:Jackjunia.JPG

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Jackjunia.JPG. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under Non-Free content criteria but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a Non-Free rationale.

If you have uploaded other Non-Free media, consider checking that you have specified the Non-Free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Disambiguation link notification for July 14

Hi. When you recently edited Characters of Carnivàle, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Hannah (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 12:29, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did to List of female supervillains, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Information icon Thank you for trying to keep Wikipedia free of vandalism. However, one or more edits you labeled as vandalism, such as the edit at List of female supervillains‎, are not considered vandalism under Wikipedia policy. Wikipedia has a stricter definition of the word "vandalism" than common usage, and mislabeling edits as vandalism can discourage editors. Please read Wikipedia:NOTVAND for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you. Edward321 (talk) 01:40, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at List of female supervillains shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

My understanding of that article was that since all the other names were not "sourced," then why should we source all the remainder? The article shouldn't even be kept if all new additions need sourcing and the previous ones on the article don't have any sources of their own. - Zarbon (talk) 05:51, 14 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Protection

I've just protected your talk page for three days due to the persistent sock attacks, let me know if you'd like the duration changed. Mark Arsten (talk) 02:23, 2 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:09, 7 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
