July 2013[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Knowledgekid87. I noticed that you made a change to an article, The Powerpuff Girls, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 22:54, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

CGI section[edit]

Seeing I do not think the average reader knows what a CGI is would you think it better to just include the new special being made in the specials section? - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 17:23, 1 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome[edit]

Hi, Zboogie604. Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed you've just joined, and wanted to give you a few tips to get you started.

ようこそ
  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. Edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

Improper reversion[edit]

Hi, your reversion of Tony1's edit here was inappropriate for two reasons: 1) You should be explaining your reversions by including, at the very least, an explanation by way of an edit summary. 2) The changes he made were sound. Per WP:OVERLINK we do not need wikilinks for common words/concepts like adventure, pink, dress, etc. He added an MDY template which instructs bots to convert problematic dates to the United States MDY format. He also fixed dates in citations and made some other cosmetic, but valid changes. Not sure what your objection was, but your change has been undone. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:29, 25 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback on my recent edit on here. Sometimes my edits and revisions don't turn out as I thought. Anyways people over on the Powerpuff Girls wiki have been talking about the 2016 version of the show and now the 2015 is here, I'm afraid if the reboot comes that year, the original series, everything related to it, and its website on cartoonnetwork.com will cease to exist. -Zboogie604 (talk) 7:12 January 26, 2015 (UTC)

Your recent edits[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 19:14, 9 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Powerpuff Girls[edit]

Hi there, I'm not sure why you chose me as the target of this Powerpuff Girls rant. (I'm not a fan of the series, I just happen to watch the article in my capacity as an anti-vandalism editor) As a matter of general Wikipedia etiquette, talk pages should be used to discuss improvements to articles or other matters related to Wikipedia. Obviously there is some leeway on user talk pages if you and another editor have a history of chummy banter, but dropping 1000+ word text walls on other people's talk pages unprovoked is bound to be met with some serious side-eye, particularly if the target of your comments is not as much of a fan of thing as you are. Take care, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:55, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The reason why is because nobody else would believe me. They won't even care about how aggravated I am about people (especially Jennings and Boyle) constantly acting like the 1998 Powerpuff Girls and their 2016 counterparts are the same characters instead of separate versions, what I said a million times what will happen to the PPG original 1998 series once the reboot airs, and what the fans will say. They'll all think I'm crazy, and that I need to stop defending the PPG original series and forget about it, because no one cares about the original series, accept the fact the Powerpuff Girls and their 2016 counterparts are the same characters who just got updated and shut my mouth, because the fans and the EPs of the new PPG 2016 reboot (who are also fans of the original) don't want to hear it. That's what they'll tell me. Besides when I posted that message people on the Powerpuff Girls wiki panned me for that this is what some of them said:

"Man, the original series was terrible!" -Redfox90210 and "Well dang this is like the worst birthday for Craig McCracken (the creator) if you put that way."

I oughta tell those people on the Powerpuff Girls wiki, "How can I trust any of you people if y'all keep fillin' my head with all your nonsensical Irish bull about the Powerpuff girls original series being a terrible show It's like you WANT me to clear the original series outta my mind and make room for the reboot! I can't trust anyone on this wiki! Y'all are a bunch of multi-ethnic dirty ass rats!!" I wish I could scream to the EPs on Twitter telling them how fed up I am about people acting like the 1998 Powerpuff Girls and their 2016 counterparts are the same characters who just got updated I just don't like how people want to get rid of the Powerpuff Girls original series because the think the new reboot is new it's improved and that the original series is horrible and that pisses me off! (talk) 15:55, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not the place to rant about this. Discussion forums are a more suitable venue. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 22:16, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Powerpuff Girls being Jews[edit]

While there is no evidence that the Powerpuff Girls are Jewish, celebrating Christmas does not negate them being Jews. Who the hell said Jews can't celebrate Christmas? Celebrating the religious part of Christmas, well, maybe. But I'm talking about the secular tradition of Christmas, as it is portrayed in the Powerpuff Girls universe. Celebrating Christmas is not exclusive to Christians. Classicalfan626 (talk) 12:35, 17 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

PPG Reboot[edit]

The PPG reboot is over. For the love of God, June 16 has already come. And the show's ratings were so abysmal towards the end (during the 3rd season) that it would be insane to even begin production on a 4th season. And the pandemic is not a good excuse for saying the series is still ongoing, because it's very possible that production on the show ended well before the pandemic, and new episodes for other shows are still airing, as far as I know. Quit using the pandemic as an excuse. Classicalfan626 (talk) 22:23, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

BLP discretionary sanctions alert[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
