Speedy deletion of Kill The Drive[edit]

A tag has been placed on Kill The Drive requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ttonyb1 (talk) 17:05, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

May 2009[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Kill The Drive. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. ttonyb1 (talk) 17:23, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Megadeth untitled 12th studio album, you will be blocked from editing. Your edits have been automatically marked as vandalism and have been automatically reverted. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. If your edit was not vandalism, please feel free to make your edit again after reporting it. The following is the log entry regarding this vandalism: Megadeth untitled 12th studio album was changed by ZeppelinStarz (u) (t) blanking the page on 2009-05-12T22:17:58+00:00 . Thank you. AfD nomination of Megadeth's 12th untitled studio album[edit]

I have nominated Megadeth's 12th untitled studio album, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Megadeth's 12th untitled studio album. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Cannibaloki 19:24, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi!

Please read WP:DATE before you use "present", as you did in the God Seed article. And try to look out for notices in the future, thanks! Dark Prime (talk) 09:29, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. An editor mentioned to me that some of your edits do not appear to have been in line with the manual of style, particularly those related to the template. As genres aren't proper nouns, the first letter shouldn't always be capitalised. Take a look at the sample template for an example of correct usage. Also, it is often ill-advised to add genres without a good citation from a reliable source to back it up, as this would constitute original research, as people often have differing opinions over what songs are what genres. If you need any help, please contact me on my talk page. Best, – Toon(talk) 22:16, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi[edit]

Please don't change dates to "presents" and ignore warnings which tell you not to do so and refer you to wikipedia policies, thanks! Dark Prime (talk) 22:35, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I see this is your second warning (turns out I warned you once before). If you do this again I will take whatever action is necessary. Dark Prime (talk) 22:37, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Blackout children of the night.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Blackout children of the night.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:13, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Changing genres without reliable sources[edit]

Do not do it, especially when there is a tag requesting that the Edit Wars stop. It is an example of Original Research. k.i.a.c (talktome - contribs) 07:15, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

June 2009[edit]

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to 311 (band). Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.--F-22 Raptor IV 18:10, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for repeatedly changing Genres without providing sources, having been warned several times and not responding or changing your behaviour. This is causing disruption, and goes against one of Wikipedia's main policies: no original research.. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. – Toon(talk) 20:50, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Yotam Ben-Horin's first solo album[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Yotam Ben-Horin's first solo album, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Crystal ball violation. Way way too early. Doesn't even have a label

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello ZeppelinStarz! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 872 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Danny Sanderson - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

A tag has been placed on File:Chickenfoot.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free image with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria.

If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the image can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{non-free fair use in|article name that the image is used in}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the image. If the image has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —Akrabbimtalk 21:36, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
