Please describe concisely and clearly what constructive edits you would make. Thanks -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 01:11, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Good afternoon. One edit I noticed that might have to involve a consensus involves the list countries and dependencies page. I noticed one user used an outdated metric to describe the United States size. He disregarded adding the United States portion of the Great Lakes (which includes Lake Michigan and it’s portion of the lakes 155,641 sq km) to the total area of The United States but included Canadas Great Lake portion to Canada total area which is not ethical. The area of the United States should be 9,525,067 km2 instead of 9,369,417. 9,525,067 km2 Comes from Britannica which is the most neutral source. Hello there! I have unblocked your account. Thanks for your explanation of what was going on. A few things that might help in future:

  • Using edit summaries so it's clear to everyone what you are doing with edits.
  • Use your sandbox if you need to test something. You have your own personal sandbox at User:ZeusDragon2024/sandbox.
  • Use the preview button before you save an edit, so if you've messed something up, you can fix it before it goes "live."

If there's anything I can help you with, please let me know. You can leave a message on my talk page by clicking the word "Noise!" in my signature. Joyous! Noise! 04:00, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion on talk pages[edit]

Please confine article discussion to the relevant talk pages. Do not discuss article content on user pages, unless there is no better place to discuss it. Thanks. Wizmut (talk) 22:44, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting material under discussion[edit]

Please review the advice on how to avoid edit warring behavior. And please also review what edit-warring is and especially the three-revert rule.

Please focus instead on finding the consensus for the given topic, which may involve some negotiation. Wizmut (talk) 04:39, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
