Ecclesiastes[edit]

Thanks for drawing my attention, it should have been "The Preacher". This is an alternative name from King James Version. Reagrds, Rich Farmbrough 15:05 5 June 2006 (UTC).

Thanks[edit]

Thanks for the note on my user page. Very friendly of you! However, I think your Bot got its knickers in a twist. There were three of us reverting vandalism and we seemed to be getting in each other's way.

Weird VP edit[edit]

For some reason you were reverting vandalism to C++ on C: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=C&diff=78326055&oldid=77935310 TimBentley (talk) 18:58, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I saw that too. I think it has something to do with failure to encode the plus signs. Try the following links:

Thanks for catching that. I will report it to VP's buglist. --Ziusudra 00:20, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

For reverting vandalism to my user page. MER-C 11:32, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why?[edit]

I'm hoping your reporting of me to WP:AIV was an accident? Khukri (talk . contribs) 15:59, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that. It was unintentional, collateral damage from trying to report the vandal who was blanking your warnings. I am seeing a lot of collisions and splatter from using the tool VandalProof, and am thinking about dropping its use, at least until it is improved. I don't think I'm using it wrong, but.... --Ziusudra 16:05, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
No probs, check my archives and the same has happened to me on a number of occasions. VP2 should be out soon so hope that feature has been removed. I've remove myself from AIV, and I wouldn't give up on VP it's about the fastest revert tool there is. Cheers Khukri (talk . contribs) 16:14, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ullo, me again ;) you beat me to a revert on vandalism to User:Jossi and then I noticed you'd given a test2a warning, do you mind if I change that to a tpv2 as it's more appropriate? Cheers Khukri (talk . contribs) 21:29, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately VP1&2 doesn't have all the warnings that RC patrollers could use. When I started I always use to keep this page WP:UTM open in one of my tabs on firefox, and after a while you start remembering the stuff off the top of your head. The two main ones I use (other than test warnings) are {{subst:tpv1-4}} which is talk page violation. Usually given after someone has a dummy spit, having been given a warning by an editor and thinks they can exact revenge on the editors user pages. The other is {{subst:wr1-4}} for removal of warning on the talk pages, trying to hide the fact then been vandalising whilst using daddies computer. I've been trying VP2 over the weekend, and I prefer the original, I might try and get the source code and find a mate who is geeked out enough to add all the warnings I want. Anyhoo, cheers. Editing talk page[edit]

My younger brother was using my computer when the vandalism occurred. He started laughing, so I came over and saw him doing that, and I deleted the warning because I don't want that on my record. Please allow me to remove it. --18.85.18.52 19:34, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Speech synthesis up for FAR[edit]

Hi there,

You're listed in the edit history of this article. I wonder whether you're able to help bring it up to FA standard again? Please see WP:FAR#Speech_synthesis.

Hi Z,

Sorry you've been spammed, but I hope you'll find for a good reason. I've know you are active around the recent changes arena (normally having beaten me to a revert), and I'm currently looking for help with a new project. I would like to harmonise all the warnings and templates we issue, with goal to creating a standard look, format and content to the messages. Even if you use VP, VS or any of the other vandal tools out there, I still feel this is worthwhile. Please visit here for further information, and leave me a message if you're interested, or tell me to get lost ;) if you haven't the time. Ankara[edit]

No, I didn't see it. Thanks—I guess I see what you're saying. —Khoikhoi 17:29, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of ape category from Neanderthal[edit]

I just noticed your removal of the ape category from that page after an anon put it back in. Although their comment was perhaps a bit insensitive, I have to agree with the basic sentiment, at least if we are dealing with a scientific categorization of ape. They, like modern humans, are scientifically considered apes. Just thought I'd let you know in case you wanted to challenge it or something. Wikipedia's a Joke[edit]

I was accused of making improper edits? I've only edited one page - Michael Kramer, removed an "original research" tag which was irrelevant because further down the page there are at least a dozen links referring to the incident. Some douchebag Netscott claims this is an improper edit. If he was referring to another page, he needs to link to that page specifically instead of making a general accusation like that without any foundation. And then they slap on ispinfo, don't post my fucking ISP info, which I cleared. Wikipedia's a joke, it's crumbling down from the inside out.

Neanderthal[edit]

Uhm - what are you doing? I took obvious, simple vandalism out of the article and you restored it? Why? WilyD 17:16, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Answered your question in Commons. --Javierme 16:12, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
