January 2012[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 00:03, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Making threats[edit]

Making threats such as you did with If you continue arguing with the facts I will have you banned. My roomate is an administrator on Wikipedia is not the way we do things here. I strongly suggest that you read up on some our policies here before continuing to edit the encyclopedia, and if you don't understand them - ask your 'room mate'. Here's a start: WP:CIVIL, and WP:BOOMERANG. Happy new year to you. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 00:08, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Aziz Shavershian, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. The reverted edit can be found here. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Aziz Shavershian with this edit. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 04:14, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Aziz Shavershian[edit]

Formspring as well as Facebook and other social networking sites may be used, as per WP:ABOUTSELF. Please take a read as to the criteria it may be used for: WP:ABOUTSELF states:

  • 1.the material is not unduly self-serving;
  • 2.it does not involve claims about third parties;
  • 3.it does not involve claims about events not directly related to the source;
  • 4.there is no reasonable doubt as to its authenticity - Smuggling heroin into a country - First you say anabolic steroids, now heroin? Where are the reliable news outlets confirming heroin use?
  • 5.the article is not based primarily on such sources.

For example, if someone were to ask him on his Formspring, "Are you the Prime Minister of Australia" he answers "Yes" - are you going to add that? Offcourse not. -- MSTR (Happy New Year!) 04:26, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would ask that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on user talk:MelbourneStar. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. And take a look at the advice your were given at WP:EAR Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 06:03, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Aziz Shavershian shows that you are in danger of breaking the three-revert rule, or that you may have already broken it. An editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Breaking the three-revert rule often leads to a block.

If you wish to avoid being blocked, instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to discuss the changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. You may still be blocked for edit warring even if you do not exceed the technical limit of the three-revert rule if your behavior indicates that you intend to continue to revert repeatedly. I note that you've actually reverted 4 times now. Danger High voltage! 17:53, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Re: your query on my talk-page[edit]

You said: "On the Aziz Shavershian edits page, you directed me to WP:BLP. I was a bit confused by this, because Shavershian is dead."

For your convenience, the relevant policy is covered under WP:BDP. I quote it below (the bolding is mine):

"This policy does not apply to material concerning deceased persons. Any individual born fewer than 115 years ago is covered by this policy unless a reliable source has confirmed the individual's death. People over 115 years old are presumed dead unless listed at oldest people. However, material about dead people that has implications for their living relatives and friends, particularly in the case of recent deaths, is covered by this policy. Questionable material that affects living persons should be removed promptly."

In this case, "questionable" seems rather mild. Haploidavey (talk) 18:03, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Don't add the "heroin" entry onto the Shavershian page, again.—Ryulong (竜龙) 02:06, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Aziz Shavershian, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Eurasian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Blocked[edit]

Zuloon - after reviewing your contribution history, I have block your account indefinitely. Virtually all of your edits are disruptive, and I don't see any sincere attempts to make constructive contributions to the encyclopedia. You have also ignored the warnings of several editors who expressed their concerns about your editing conduct. You may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.--Kubigula (talk) 04:41, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
