Vahid Abasov (Serbian Cyrillic: Вахид Абасов, Russian: Вахид Вагиф оглы Аббасов; born 6 June 1997) is a Russian-born Serbian boxer.[1][2][3] He participated at the 2022 European Amateur Boxing Championships,[4] being awarded the gold medal in the welterweight event.[5] Abasov and Artem Ageev were the only people to win medals which were gold medals for their country.[5] He was the second person of his country to win the medal.[6]
