In this Malay name, there is no surname or family name. The name Wan Khazim is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by their given name, Wan Kharizal. The word "bin" or "binti"/"binte" means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.

Wan Kharizal bin Wan Khazim (born 21 September 1962) is a Malaysian politician who served as State AMANAH Chairman of Perlis since 2015. He was appointed as a member of board of directors of the National Farmer's Organisation (NAFAS) in 2019.[1][2]
