Wikipedia:Adopt-a-typo/MOS:APPENDIX headings

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This page collects a bunch of searches that look for a variety of possible misspellings of common heading names for Wikipedia articles. See MOS:APPENDIX for more information.

Bold for an entry indicates that the misspelling occurs commonly.

If you manage to "clear wikipedia" of all these errors (or a sufficient number that you're proud of it), please post your name at the logbook so others can notice your work.

Common non-standard headings[edit]

The following are common but non-standard section headings names. They should usually be merged with an existing heading or changed to an appropriate standard name as defined in MOS:APPENDIX. It is often tough, however, to decide which section heading to use because it unclear if the person who added the section really meant, for instance, that the links are being used as references or merely as links with more information. If it's unclear, err on the side that the sources were not used as references because it is better for readers to think an article has few sources than for them to assume it is well sourced when it is not.
