- Comment from nominator I do not include the 2023 newly-recorded songs Slut!, Now That We Don't Talk, Say Don't Go, Is It Over Now in this topic. The reason is simple: they are not on the album 1989 which was released in 2014 (this topic's central article). - Support: I do understand the rationale for the oppose arguments, but I believe 1989 and the re-recording are separate enough to warrant separate topics. Having a separate topic for the re-recording with the songs released specifically on that album makes the most sense to me as I think combining everything together could be potentially misleading.
