State touring routes in Hamilton County, New York (1st supplementary nomination)[edit]
I do not suggest we change the articles in this topic but am nominating it for renaming to the more general name, "State highways in Hamilton County, New York". There are no state reference routes in Hamilton County so I hope this will be a fairly uncontroversial change - rst20xx (talk) 17:17, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

- The list covers county highways as well as state highways. None of the county highways have articles but this does not mean they do not deserve them, as for example many county highways in Warren County do. Hence calling the topic "Highways in Hamilton County, New York" (not "State highways") would be too general as the topic would not cover its named scope - rst20xx (talk) 18:42, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- I agree with the change; these "touring routes" topics are kind of odd, and while I still am uneasy about "[type of] highway in [X] county" topics due to their unwieldiness given several topics of adjacent counties I'm more comfortable with them as "State Highway" topics. I'll support the other nom you put up and dropped when you re-add it. --PresN 05:14, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
