I am nominating this featured article for review because it seems like it lacks information. I believe it needs more content to be FA. It also needs more refs. Would be nice to have a few see also as well NickGibson3900 (talk) 16:28, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Length isn't a criteria for featured article status. As an obscure lost short film, there isn't going to be a whole lot of information. Also, you can't nominate something for a FAR unless you've notified interested contributors on the article's talk page first. Taylor Trescott - my talk + my edits 16:32, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • This is an utterly flawed nomination. There has been no discussion on the talk page first, as FAR requires. The FAC nominator has not been notified. There is a vague indication that "more content" is needed, without bothering to say what or where it is to come from. There is a similar vague request for "more refs". Why - for the existing material (and if so, what material is not properly referenced?) or for unspecified new material (which will presumably come with references)? And as for "nice to have a few see also as well" - well, words nearly fail me, but if you can think of any relevant links to add, add them, don't bring it straight to FAR. NB this is a 2014 FA promotion, so it's not like standards have changed massively since its promotion. Reviewers were obviously aware of the length of the article when they supported it for FA. @FAR delegates - I wouldn't even bother putting this on hold to allow talk page notification first, since there is no way that this article is going to be demoted for these criticisms. FAC nominator wasn't notified, but has already commented - I didn't put two and two together! BencherliteTalk 16:55, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi NickGibson3900, before initiating a formal FAR you need to discuss the issue on the article's talk page. For that reason I'm going to close this for now to allow time for discussion and potential improvement of the article. Nikkimaria (talk) 03:20, 25 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
