Reason: Last nomination was during a slow period, but nearly passed, just didn't reach quorum. Originators of the roles (in a revival three years after the first run). Crop not ideal, but, well, that's an artefact of the time, particularly the aspect ratios of carte-de-visite photos: two people in a carte-de-visite don't tend to fit well; with three, you can tilt it on its side, but with two, either you have ridiculous head room or they're tiny, and given they aren't really that big of photo as originally printed...
