Ni no Kuni is a series of role-playing games, developed by Level-5. The first game in the series, Dominion of the Dark Djinn, was released in December 2010 for the Nintendo DS; an enhanced version, Wrath of the White Witch, was released for the PlayStation 3 in November 2011. A sequel, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, was released for the PlayStation 4 and Windows in March 2018. Three mobile games have also been released: Hotroit Stories in December 2010, Daibouken Monsters in May 2012, and Cross Worlds in June 2021. The animated sequences for the main games were produced by Studio Ghibli, and the original score was composed by Joe Hisaishi and Rei Kondoh. The games were praised as being among the best modern role-playing games, and received numerous accolades. A film adaptation, NiNoKuni, was released in August 2019.
