How to update the image displayed on the right side of the page for a politician?[edit]

I am trying to update the image displayed on the right side of the page for a politician (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rachel_Burgin) but can't seem to figure out how to do so.

The image has been uploaded (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Rachel-Burgin.jpg), but when I attempt to edit her page, I don't see the option to change the default photo. It seems like you figured it out, as the last edit I see to the page is you placing her picture there. If you still do not see the picture, you may want to try bypassing your cache and reloading the page from scratch. TN X Man 03:21, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User:Stevonmfl already exists and looks to be another account that you have. You should stick to using one and make it clear on your userpages that you are the same person. If you've forgotten your password, you can request a new one if you've registered an email address to it. I'm not sure how you do this but I'm sure someone here can help. Photos and Collages[edit]

How does one go about creating a photo collage of any number of photos (already in Wikimedia Commons) to post in an article (that way many things are represented)? Is there a certain process you have to go through in order to obtain permission, etc.? I understand you need a seperate Commons username, etc. But how to you do it? Thank you. Facebook page creation automatic from Wikipedia page creation?[edit]

Hello,

My company created a page and now it appears as though there's a corresponding Facebook page. Do Facebook pages automatically get created from Wikipedia pages?

No, Wikipedia and Facebook are completely unrelated, although someone may have independently decided to reuse the text of the Wikipedia article to create a Facebook profile. When a user does a search on Facebook, it returns Facebook pages at the top, then Bing results underneath -- and the distinction between the two is not super clear. Given that those Bing results usually include the Wikipedia entry at # 2 or 3, I wonder if that might be what the OP is seeing. katherine_a (talk) 13:14, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I suspect, based on your question, that you found one of our over 6 million articles and thought we were affiliated in some way with that subject. Any idea who these 'authors' are on these published articles from Wikipedia[edit]

The Colorado article took about 10 seconds to load for me just now, in Firefox 3.6.8 under Windows Vista. While that isn't as fast as I might like, it doesn't seem unusual for a large article. If you feel motivated, you could try copying the article to a user sandbox and see if your copy has the same slow loading problem. If it does, try removing chunks of the article from your sandbox and see if the remainder will load faster. That might let you isolate some particular code that might be slowing down the article. Also look at the history of the Colorado article, and see if old revisions will load faster for you. If the article slowed down after a particular revision, that might also reveal a code problem. --Teratornis (talk) 00:41, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The problem seems unrelated to the article size. Line of succession to the British throne is over three times the size of Colorado and is currently (afaik) the largest article here.
