However, writing your own autobiography might not be the best idea since doing so would violate conflict of interest. However, if it is an autobiography that you want written as is implied, then you can request someone write it for you if there are enough independent sources and you meet notability guidelines. Lost image[edit]

An image file "Zombie.svg" has disappeared. It was linked to this template: [1]

help with AfD log[edit]

I am attempting to nominate an article (Jolie O'Dell) for deletion, but the AfD log page at

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Log/2012 December 15

stubbornly refuses to accept my entry in the AfD log. I have followed all of the AfD instructions to the letter, as best I can tell, and I need someone who can get this article int the AfD log. I don't know if it has something to do with the apostrophe in the article title or if it's something else. Circumspect (talk) 09:50, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have reformatted the AfD page, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jolie O'Dell, using the afd2 template as described at step 2 at WP:AFDHOWTO, and it is now showing up correctly in the log. How to create a Picture Info-Box[edit]

Dear Wiki,

I want to use a "Living Person's Picture" to help reader's understand the article I am writing about [eg: Pabel Miah (British Singer)] so they can understand who the person is and what the article is about. I already created an article and now planning to use a image public for everyone to see on the article page. I already uploaded an image to Wiki's Sister Site and now want to know how you can create a "Picture Info-Box along with other details such as date of birth, when born, where living & musical genre's"...etc.

Help with Yasser akkaoui article[edit]

Hello

I submitted yesterday my first wikipedia article entitle Yasser akkaoui.

After submission, there are 3 comments on the top: 1) "The article is an orphan": but I have placed several links to other wikipedia pages throughout the article. What can I do to fix this? 2) "This article or section may have been copied and pasted from...". It was not copied and pasted from another site. That site just happens to also have a biography of the person so there are many common words. How can I fix this? 3) "Clean up": Not sure what I can do here to fix it.

Finally, I need to change the caps in the title to "Yasser Akkaoui" instead of "Yasser akkaoui". How do I do that?

Maya, I have moved that web-page (in Wikipedia jargon "article") to Yasser Akkaoui. There are a lot of problems with that article. First of all, it would appear to have a lot of its text copied and pasted from this source and may be a infringement of Copyright.--Shirt58 (talk) 13:30, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Orphan" means that no other articles link to it - to fix that, you need to find other articles which should have links to this one; if there are none, it weakens the argument that the subject meets the notability criterion. --ColinFine (talk) 14:42, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Community-based rehabilitation[edit]

My concern is that information on CBR Africa Network (CAN)has been filed under the heading of another network, specifically CBR Asia Pacific Network. Secondly, a link to the source of information on CAN has not provided. The URL is http://www.afri-can.org. I would like to point out that CBR Africa Network was the first regional CBR network to be established, followed by Asia-Pacific seven (7) years later and most recently by CBR Americas and the Caribbean.

You are free to add the information yourself. Incidentally, the article needs a lot of work done to make it acceptable. It starts with a huge paragraph, which need to be subdivided. It does not begin by explaining what "community-based rehabilitation" is – is it an organisation, or a technique? And it has no references at all. Maproom (talk) 15:52, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

request citation?[edit]

If we see something in an article that doesn't have a reference or citation listed, is there a way to request that a citation/reference to inserted? For example on the page for Serena Southerlyn (from tv show Law & Order), some one wrote "In another episode, an elderly woman asked Southerlyn if she was married or had a boyfriend; she said that she wasn't, but the manner in which she stumbled over her response indicated discomfort with the topic and hinted at "something more" behind her answer." They do not cite the episode this occurred in. Is there a way to request a citation?

You can put the {{citation needed}} tag following the text you think needs a citation. RudolfRed (talk) 20:58, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

But unfortunately, there is no guarantee that anybody will respond to it. If you also make a note on the talk page, that might prompt another editor interested in the page to look for a citation.
