Hi there. You cannot join Wikipedia with a name that represents a company. Accounts should represent individuals, and should only be used by one person.
If you're trying to edit on behalf of a company, I advise you not to do so. Please see our guidelines on having a conflict of interest. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 07:55, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ben richards sister is not Jamie benson[edit]

Ben richards has 2 sisters Vanessa and Lisa and a brother danny.I should know I am his father mike richards 151.226.28.33 (talk) 09:32, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Mike. The problem we have with your message is that the artile Ben Richards (actor) cites this article from The Argus, which says "Last month, the Argus told how her brother, Ben Richards, introduced to dance by Lisa, landed the lead role in hit West End musical Saturday Night Fever." I appreciate that papers sometimes get things wrong, but they're the best we have: with respect, we've no way of telling who you are, or whether your information is correct. Do you have some other published evidence that the Argus is wrong? --ColinFine (talk) 10:14, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The antecedent of "her" is ambiguous: The article is about Benson, but the immediately preceding sentence mentions "Art Of Dance teacher Lisa Davies," which may match Mike's statement. —teb728 t c 10:54, 26 December 2015 (UTC) In light of the ambiguity I have removed Benson from the article. —teb728 t c 18:30, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, one for Greg: having had a contribution edited for "advertising", my latest update on the March Violets page was again edited for having promotional material - something I thought I had been scrupulous to avoid. The deleted sentence simply stated that other promotional material was available for the new album. which is factually true. The Pledge Music project came with a wide range of add on extras. I didn't list what this material was nor elaborate further. Before contributing again, I'd like to know why this fact was deemed inappropriate, so that I don't repeat the mistake. Discuss at the article talk page, Talk: The March Violets. There has been no discussion at the talk page. Robert McClenon (talk) 17:51, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have failed trying to give a direct link on the page in the "Potternewton Hall" section to the section titled "St Mary's Church" (near ref. number 8) - which has it's own section lower down on the page. I have tried to use the hash tag, but I have failed. Please help me. 101.182.146.167 (talk) 23:56, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You didn't fail. You made a correctly working link in [1] before posting here. Note however that we usually pipe the link per Help:Link#Section linking (anchors), so # is not displayed to readers. The code here would be [[#St Martin's Church|St Martin's Church]]. PrimeHunter (talk) 00:10, 27 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
