April 22[edit]

There is an editor - Xoxoggx - who keeps changing the refs - including the records/newspaper for Northwestern University - that Markle did NOT graduate form the university. As the university's own alumni newsletter pionts out, Markle is indeed recorded as a graduate - in 2003. Many verifiable media outlets have reported this fact in the last 2 years. Please stop the vandalism by Xoxoggx.

Thanks 101.182.219.133 (talk) 00:42, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The content you added, which appears to be supported by reliable sources, remains in the article (with some subsequent clean-up) as of this writing. I have left a note warning the user who removed it. Please note that vandalism has a specific meaning on Wikipedia. Although the user was warned once before over this, I still would prefer to assume good faith at this point. The page is relatively well watched, so I'd hope that any further problems will be handled promptly. RivertorchFIREWATER 04:44, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Need to delete a talk page to fix moving junk[edit]

The page Everton Bilher was moved to Everton Luiz Guimarães Bilher, but seem Talk:Everton Bilher was not moved to the right place, making a recreating of parallel talk page Talk:Everton Luiz Guimarães Bilher. So, how to fix it? Matthew_hk tc 01:40, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A request was made to WP:RM#TR. It will be taken care of when an admin sees it. Thanks, CTF83! 03:09, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

content translating[edit]

how to access my content translation page directly? and how to see my saved work there? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Guranda Dzamelashvili (talkcontribs) 11:15, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This question seems to be your only edit anywhere in the Wikipedia family. Are you asking about some other project, or do you have another user name? Dbfirs 11:19, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple references to same book[edit]

I would appreciate just a very quick, simple explanation of how to quote references to different pages of the same source book several times in an article I'm editing.Daveleicuk (talk) 16:03, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Use them in a Notes section such as the examples on this page: ex. #Berlin|Berlin (1994) p. 121 Scott Joplin. Hope this helps. Maineartists (talk) 16:12, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Daveleicuk another method is to use the {{rp}} template containing the relevant page(s) appended to each footnote. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 12:17, 23 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

How do you edit the title?[edit]

Our company bought out the original owners and I want to reflect the current name. I cannot edit this field. Does anyone know how? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hellobuster (talkcontribs) 16:52, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is done by 'moving' the page. This is done via the 'more' tab at the at the top of the page. However, this will not be possible for you until your account is at least 4 days old and you have made at least 10 viable edits. If you provide details of the page you are referring to and a reliable source to verify the name change, another editor may be able to make the change you require. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 16:56, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
They seem to be referring to Fushi Copperweld.
Hellobuster, you may want to read our conflict of interest guidelines since you work for the company that you are trying to edit an article about. †dismas†|(talk) 02:38, 23 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Defamatory content[edit]

There has been a wrong publication of a wrong content about Daniel Obinim. We see the content as false and defamatory. We are requesting for the content to be deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Joseph Osei Oppong Brenya (talkcontribs) 23:50, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Joseph Osei Oppong Brenya: I see that you have repeatedly deleted referenced critical content from Daniel Obinim (sometimes with the misleading edit commentary "Added content"). You have also added your own opinions about him, without references. Please be aware that Wikipedia articles should be based on what has been published in reliable independent sources, and not on the opinions of its contributors. State Rank by Population - Throughout wiki, you place Pennsylvania ahead of Illinois in population rank. This is not accurate. Illinois is still ahead of PA. Check your own population statistics.[edit]

Please correct all references to state population rank.

Illinois is fifth in population.

Pennsylvania is sixth in population.

Please check your own numbers.

Thank you.

For convenience, this editor appears to be referring to the Pennsylvania, Illinois and List of U.S. states and territories by population articles. Darylgolden(talk) Ping when replying 02:12, 23 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The figures in the individual State's articles, which agree with those used in the List, are taken from a published estimate of their 2015 populations, namely
"Annual Estimates of the Resident Population for the United States, Regions, States, and Puerto Rico: April 1, 2010 to July 1, 2015 (NST-EST2015-01)". 2015 Population Estimates. United States Census Bureau, Population Division. December 23, 2015. Archived from the original (CSV) on December 23, 2015. Retrieved December 23, 2015.
I notice that the figures from the 2010 census would have placed them in the reverse order.
There are doubtless a number of different sets of figures from different sources relating to different years: perhaps the good professor can suggest an alternative Reliable Source for the most recent figures, and explain why it is superior to the one currently used? {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 90.217.249.244 (talk) 02:48, 23 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
