Don't know location of book publisher

The book I'm trying to cite is here; the publisher is a Hungarian one called "Corvina", and I don't know where it's headquartered. Could anyone please help me on this?

(Edit: Just to be clear, could anyone please confirm that "location" in the "cite book" template does indeed refer to the location of the publisher? That seems to be the case according to this section of the "cite book" page, but I just want to be sure that it was only referring to "news stories with a dateline", and that I shouldn't replace "location" with "publication-place" in the template. Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge

I have put in the charity section (subheading Patronages) section of this article a direct link on the words "Valerie Middleton" - Valerie Middleton to go straight to the section titled "Parents of Michael Middleton" on the Family of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge page. But it is not working. Please help. I have not asked for any assistance for weeks so I apologise in advance but I cannot do this edit correctly it seems. Fixed, there was a zero-width space between Middleton and | (the pipe character). I'm not sure how it appears on your device, but mine showed a red spot where the space was, when editing in source mode. – Teratix ₵ 01:48, 12 August 2020 (UTC)

Photogenic

I just wanted to run it by fresh pairs of eyes. Peer-reviewed articles and books reveal many definitions of photogenic, without a single predominant one. Photogenic (disambiguation) exists, so I don't know if turning the former into a list of possible definitions makes sense. I also think turning it into, say, a page about photogenic drawings kind of violate the principle of least astonishment. Before I nominate this for AfD, did my trawl through sources miss anything? Hello, Rotideypoc41352. I don't understand why this is a Wikipedia article: NOTDICTIONARY. (And yes, I've seen the comment on the talk page saying that it is more than one). font size

can someone, anyone contact someone, whomever and tell them that the wiki font size is way, way, too, too small.

@Catawhompus: font size is controlled by your browser. For most browsers, hit CTRL+ to increase the font size and CTRL- to decrease the font size. "CTRL+" means depress and hold the ctrl key and then hit the plus key -Arch dude (talk) 03:53, 12 August 2020 (UTC)

infobox at end of article -- by reader preference

I find the infobox to many articles disturbing. Can I, as a reader set my preference such that the infobox appears at the end of the article, as a kind of summary? I expect that, in those circumstances, I might find even an unsatisfactory infobox helpful.Nick_cool (talk) 05:00, 12 August 2020 (UTC)

The regex that you might use to find all newlines (often carriage-return line-feed combinations) in this section: Advanced menu, quizzing glass at far right, then:

Search for: \n

Replace with: <whatever>

Treat search string as a regular expression: checked

The article is getting lots of editing and edit-warring, so make sure you are seeing the latest version of the page by clearing your cache (usually with F5) and that you are actually looking at Wikipedia, and not something like Google's "knowledge graph" or some other mirror site, over which we have no control. GA

Hello,

I have never nominated (or been part of) a GA so I was wondering if someone could take a minute to look over Social media in the 2016 United States presidential election just to make sure it won't quick fail?

I have read through the GA criteria and tried to make corrections accordingly but I have never done this before so would like to be doubly sure that it is worth nominating. I am not asking for a review but just a quick skim to see if it could pass.

• @Giraffer: I am not active in GA review, but since nobody seems to have answered so far, here's my opinion.

IMO, the risk of failure (quick or not) mostly comes from the illustration criterion (#6 in Wikipedia:Good_article_criteria#The_six_good_article_criteria). The only images are charts of Twitter activity (BTW, I would encourage you to put in the description of those images either the tool with which they were generated or the code to produce them, this also helps to ensure copyright compliance); I am not sure what images if any should be added, though. Hello

I have noticed on one of your "In the News" front page articles that it seems to be making non-neutral claims supported by spurious images regarding the political situation in Belarus:

Showing this image supporting its claims for mass-protests in Minsk:

When in fact this image shows mass-protests in Bangalore, and is even labelled "Miting Bangalor 2020".

This article appears to be propaganda for pro-democracy regime change in Belorus along similar lines to the various "Colour Revolutions" seen elsewhere. It makes claims over human rights abuses and emphasises Alexander Lukashenko's perfectly legitimate and very healthy skepticism over the seriousness of Covid-19.

This seems troubling enough that it is in an article, and even more troubling that it has made its way onto the front page of English Wikipedia.

Has the Eglish Wikipedia's Front Page become the political mouthpiece for such things? Given that it is first and foremost a neutral, fact-presenting encyclopedia, "In the News" should be extremely wary of treading on any such biased waters.

Mention of Brand Name

My name is Vikash Singh & I represent India's One of the Best International School. I was digging some information on "Top International School in India" and came across your resource web page.

I also found out that our Brand name is not mentioned in the given list. I tried to edit however I saw that I can only edit my school page has a Wikipedia page.

Is it possible for me to get featured on the Wikipedia page without having a brand wiki page?

I am sure there must be other pages on schools in India, we would like to mention our brand name in those pages also. Are there any kind of collaborations we can work upon?

No, there's nothing that you can do. Just hope that other, disinterested editors decide that your school is notable (according to Wikipedia's criteria) and create an article about it

List articles like the one you mention are not for listing every possible member of the list in existence. They are only for listing those members which have Wikipedia articles(we don't have mere "pages"). In order for your school to be mentioned there, there must be an article about it, and in order for there to be an article about it, it must be shown with significant coverage in independent reliable sources (not the school website, staff interviews, brief mentions, routine announcements, etc.) to meet Wikipedia's special definition of a notable organization. Wikipedia is not interested in what an organization wants to say about itself. Not every school merits a Wikipedia article. Wikipedia has no interest in enhancing search results for your school or helping to spread the word about it. We are only interested in what independent reliable sources have chosen on their own to say about your school.

If your school does merit a Wikipedia article, frankly, you shouldn't ideally be the one to write it. 331dot (talk) 12:12, 12 August 2020 (UTC)

Note also that these commercial enterprises who promise "complete ownership of the article" are outright lying. No one "owns" an article on Wikipedia, particularly not its subject. An article created by a commercial enterprise may well be substantively edited by other users, and if the user who created it insisting on reverting it to their own version, they might very well get blocked indefinitely. Chloe Jones is listed in Wikidata as having two different death dates: 2 June 2005 and 4 June 2005. She couldn't have died twice. Which date is right? JIP | Talk 14:21, 12 August 2020 (UTC)

@JIP: Apparently June 4 is correct according to the sources. June 2 came from IMDb, which was not even self-consistent there (the bio included a detailed description of her death on June 4). 2022 Olympic Games might be delayed until 2023

If The Coronavirus Continues to worsen then the 2022 Winter Olympics might be postponed a year and move it to the Start date of February 3 until February 19 2023. That's if i know i could be right about it. Imelda Marcos MOS issues

Hi, at article Imelda Marcos users are pushing to add another infobox to the article, and have implemented it here [1] as an infobox within an infobox. Looks funky to me per style, but might be ok. Please comment Talk:Imelda_Marcos#Re:_Placing_an_criminal_infobox_on_the_Imelda_Marcos_page there. They feel it is important to add that she is a criminal (I am not opposed to adding that), but I am unclear how to implement it, and it appears the other editors, particularly Chieharumachi (talk · contribs) are as well. (assuming I am correct that an infox shouldnt be put inside an infobox). The infobox content it needed for WP:RGW purposes, but that is another point, and not a big one to me. Thanks! I agree that guidance on this matter would be welcome. I merely followed the instructions set forth at Template:Infobox_officeholder#Embedding_other_templates. One excellent suggestion so far has been to use Template:Infobox_person instead of either Template:Infobox_criminal or Template:Infobox_officeholder, since that would be a neutral way to approach things. Unfortunately, it turns out Template:Infobox_person does not accept parameters for multiple offices such as Office2, Term3, or Successor4. Can someone recommend a workaround? - Chieharumachi (talk)

Why does this site completely misrepresent to say it nicely, on what Antifa really is? You simply attempt to disregard all blame of terrorism by Antifa by blaming the right wing extremists, which has nothing to do with Antifa or what they represents they stand only to cause chaos and disrupt by use of force, cancel culture, and out right terrorism. It’s sad how far sites like this will go to misinform people. In no way do I associate all democrats with Antifa, but I do believe the democrats use them as a weapon against conservatives, which you conveniently ignore. They have a record of violence against reporters, conservative speakers, and sometime even moderate democrats who don’t agree with all their tactics. Sad how either ignorant or outright lie to the public, expecting them to believe you. You discredit the people, your site, your families and yourself.
