wikipedia using old css can't change it[edit]

Hello,

I have some old custom css that's loading through: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/load.php?lang=en&modules=skins.vector.user.styles&only=styles&skin=vector-2022&user=Pohm&version=whuim

but I can't see the css in any of the custom css links that are in the apperance options (neither skin or shared).

I have not found a way to remove this css, does anybody know what's going on?

I had selected vector 2022 so it's weird that it's loading a css for the 2010 skin, that's just wrong.

I don't know if i'm blind or something but it's now there. I swear I clicked every custom css and it was not there.

Are you asking about a sudden change to Wikipedia's appearance? It is because the default skin has changed from the to the new Vector (2022) skin. If you would like to change back to the old one, you can, as a registered user, click on the

in the top-right corner and choose

Preferences. Once there, go to Preferences → Appearance → Skins →

Vector legacy (2010).

skins: vector 2022 bug, using css from 2010[edit]

@Pohm: If you mean the user css in your preferences then it's deliberate. Vector 2022 is a variant of Vector 2010 and existing users are automatically transferred. I guess the idea is that users shouldn't have to copy their css and js files when they didn't do anything themselves to change skin. PrimeHunter (talk) 10:47, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I feel stuck[edit]

I'm working on article 2023 Israeli judicial reform. Many other editors are participating and we generally manage to accommodate different approaches. At the moment, I feel stuck as one fellow editor, supported by another Wikipedia editor, is arguing for a structural change which is not, AFAICS, supported by the information contained in the article. Why is the title displaying in italics?[edit]

I've just noticed this and I've opened up the article in a different browser and confirmed its doing this. Why is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seongsu_Bridge_disaster displaying in italics? How to request deletion of a redirect page[edit]

A few days ago, an editor added the text "The protests have been dubbed the "Israeli spring" by some commentators" to article 2023 Israeli anti-judicial reform protests and created the redirect Israeli spring to this article. The editors of this article have reached a consensus that this is not appropriate and have removed the text from the article. How do we arrange for the deletion of the redirect? Editing window squeezed to the left[edit]

In 'edit source' the editing window has suddenly become squeezed to the left with the rendered article content to the right. I am using the 2010 Vector skin and have done so since first it was changed a few weeks ago. This has only begun happening in the last hour and I cannot see how to change or stop it. Section lead[edit]

Is there any guidance in the MOS or elsewhere about whether or not to have a lead paragraph in a section of an article that has subsections but no other text? And what it should contain? Bob K31416 (talk) 20:39, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sections don't have leads in the way that whole articles do. If there's information outside of a subsection, that just means no one has created a suitable subsection that covers that information. If there's so much information in a section that it needs a lead to summarize it, then it's usually split into its own sub-article. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 20:46, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@WikiEditor1234567123, {{Infobox settlement}} seems to be the one - it's for any subdivision below the level of a country and has extinct parameters for regions which no longer exist. 199.208.172.35 (talk) 21:00, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
