Introduction[edit]

October is American Archives Month, and archives in the state of West Virginia are collaborating to highlight the rich history of our state and the work archivists do to preserve that history. To celebrate, the West Virginia and Regional History Center will be hosting an Archives Month Wikipedia Edit-a-thon on Monday, October 24, from 1-4 p.m. West Virginia Archives Month is organized by the Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference (MARAC) West Virginia Caucus. This event is hosted by Kelly Doyle, WVU Libraries Wikipedian in Residence for Gender Equity and the West Virginia and Regional History Center.
