On the occasion of Internationl Women's Day, Nepalese Wikimedian ladies are organizing edit-a-thons and meet-ups in various places of Nepal during the entire month March 2013.

Objectives:

To increase awareness on Wikipedia.
To increase Nepalese Women's participation in Wiki movement
To write articles on Women issues in Wikipedias of various language
To improve articles related to women and women issues
To contribute to WikiWomen movement.

Wiki meetups and Edit-a-thon at Tewa office, Dhapakhel, Lalitpur - Date-TBD
Meetups at ASCOL will be conducted. Date-TBD

Wiki Wistar (Outreach)

Wiki Wistar will be conducted with the help of Wikimedia Nepal in Women's group in the three different security Forces i.e. Nepal Army, Armed Police Force and Nepal Police, in Colleges and Women organizations like TEWA.

Area of concentration

Articles related to women's issues as well as the interest area of participants will be considered to work. The following articles will be considered to be created and improved if they exist in Wiki.
