About[edit]

The Harold B. Lee library will be hosting an edit-a-thon on October 14th. All are welcome to come help solidify the ghostly presence of Mormon women on Wikipedia! Learn to add citations and information to their articles and help our foremothers rest in peace.

Event Information[edit]

  • Date: 14 October 2016
  • Time: 1pm-8pm
  • Location: 2234 and 2233 Harold B. Lee Library (near the family history library on the north side)

Agenda[edit]

  • 1pm: Rachel Helps will give a training for new Wikipedia editors
  • 3pm: Kristi Bell, folklore curator, will present on Mormon ghost stories
  • 6pm: A Wikipedia admin will give another training for new Wikipedia editors. Free bagels in a nearby conference room


Accessibility[edit]

If you are a visitor, there is a visitor parking lot accessible from 9th east. A complete map of visitor parking is here (visitor parking in pink). BYU students should not use visitor parking. The library classroom for this event is wheelchair-accessible.
