Dallas, Texas[edit]

The article failed its last FA Candicacy and has undergone quite a bit of work since then. It has a lot of subpages (most impressive is the History of Dallas, Texas).. and.. I think it's just about ready for another FA candidacy attempt. I'm looking for input per structure, where citations should be added, .. how (if) the lead should be expanded... drumguy8800 C T 03:22, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The population figures for both city and metro area in the lead are unsourced. As far as I know, there are no 2006 estimates that have been released by the Census Bureau. Also, for the infobox, the use of a single use template is not good practice. Better to use {{Infobox City}} like other city articles. --Polaron | Talk 03:41, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah someone changed those yesterday and I never reverted them.. {{Infobox Dallas}} uses {{Infobox City}}, just nested. The idea was to remove clutter from the editing space by another contributor drumguy8800 C T 04:18, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
