Dogpatch USA[edit]

Unfamiliar with the peer review/featured article process, I tried to have this article peer reviewed earlier this month. When it drew no comments after two days I moved it to featured article where it was scewered. I have placed it back in peer review, as suggested by featured article commenters. It needs some work done on the refrence section, and there were complaints about POV in the section headings. Also, usage of some of the pictures and their copyright status was brought into question. Although, permission was obtained and their copyright status was questionable to begin with. --The_stuart 20:53, 13 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Why is the FAC still open if it's being peer reviewed? You should withdraw the FAC vote with a statement saying that the article is now under peer review. Thanks. Harro5 09:20, July 14, 2005 (UTC)
Ok I will take care of it. --The_stuart 13:27, 14 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

It seems to have a lot of information, but there are writing problems. I changed around some of the prose, but it still could use another go through. It seems very inconsistent in italics and quotations, are amusment parks and rides supposed to be in italics or quotations? (both are used throughout the article) Also some of the short paragraphs should be combined. The lists in Conception, Success Seemed Imminent, and Trivia should be written in paragraph form, and the information in the list in Success Seemed Imminent should probably go in Waning Success instead.
