Vancouver[edit]

I'm apart of WP:Vancouver. This article in particular has gad a bit of work. How can we improve? -- Selmo 04:53, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Overall a nicely developed article. I just have a few comments:
  • Normally the History is the first section. See for example the FA'd city articles: Seattle, Washington, Detroit, Michigan, &c.
  • I think the sentence, "Vancouver is the third largest film production centre," needs a citation.
  • Statements such as "Vancouver is internationally renowned for its beautiful scenery" and "Vancouver is considered to be a relaxed city, particularly by North American standards" border on the non-neutral and I think they need to be backed up with solid references.
  • The "Media" section needs a summary paragraph. Readers shouldn't need to drill down to get some basic information on that subject.
