Mountain Lake[edit]

Mountain Lake, the largest lake in Moran State Park and Orcas Island

Self-nomination. Only featured in Moran State Park, which itself needs work. I thought the picture was nice and in good focus. Plus, if the article ever gets overhauled, it can be featured more prominently, perhaps in other articles as well, such as Orcas Island.

Comments:

  • Good on you to get images for a page that needs work! However, the purple fringing along the dock, the fact that the forest looks almost undifferentiated (I can't see the trees for the forest), and the composition in general would prevent this image from becoming a featured picture.
