Monitoring and charging a battery is mostly a hardware based process. You can not add features by software if the hardware has never been build to be programmable. 3d max import[edit]

In 3ds Max 2009 I have 3ds files with their skin and material files (mostly jpg) in corresponding subfolders, but when I import a 3ds file all accompanying files are not imported, even though this suggests they should be imported automatically. As the result, skin and materials are not rendered, so I end up with merely a gray model. Searching sucked. What is to be done? Brandmeister^talk 19:16, 26 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

3ds is an very old 3D-fileformat. It was the main format in 3D Studio, even befor Windows was "invented"! "Skin and material" in todays sense/use where never part of it. It was just multiple Textures at best i believe. In today's Version of Autodesk 3ds Max 3ds is still supported and can be imported. You already posted the link about procedure and limitations yourself (knowledge.autodesk). I think you simply expect tomuch from your 3ds file.

Unfortunately geometry fileformats have always been a huge jungle because there are so many competetive Software suits with different focus. Its so wild that even Autodesk's own Products Maya(.ma), 3ds Max(.max)and AutoCAD(.dwg) dont use a shared main fileformat. Even less professional CAD fileformats. Bookmarking an URL with Firefox[edit]

I want to bookmark my bank's login page, which is at www.mybank.com/login. But www.mybank.com/login is actually a redirect to signin.mybank.com/fe08faa3249e3ca16002/Fstate%3DhashArgs%2523%26isauthcode%3Dtrue which presents two problems:

1. The redirected page is a private page that expires after a few minutes

2. Its URL is long and unsightly

Problem 1 stops me from being able to bookmark the login page since the URL becomes invalid after a few minutes. Is there way to get Firefox to simply bookmark www.mybank.com/login and not the destination page? Scala Cats (talk) 19:22, 26 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

My Firefox 54.0 redirects www.mybank.com/login back to www.mybank.com. So I hovered over red Login there and chose "Personal" in the dropdown menu. The resulting page https://cibng.ibanking-services.com/EamWeb/Account/Login.aspx?orgId=088_052100987&FIFID=052100987&brand=088_052100987&appId=CeB&FIORG=088 could be then bookmarked and opened normally. In the Firefox menu, select Bookmarks -> Show All Bookmarks. Then in the left pane, right click on the bookmark folder where you want to add the bookmark. Select New Bookmark, copy your bank's URL to the Location text box and type the name you want it to have in the Name text box. CodeTalker (talk) 23:43, 26 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
