December 23[edit]

Name that song[edit]

Season 3, episode 5 of the American The Office. Michael is in his office high on caffeine or something and listening to this song really loud. The song is a lot of repetitive guitar riffs interspersed with a crowd shouting "HEYY". Deyooom yoom HEY da da doo da doom; doo doo HEY, etc. --frothT C 08:11, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There's no soundtrack in the credits? Could it be surf rock? 惑乱 分からん 15:07, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't see the episode, but it's probably Rock and Roll Part II by Gary Glitter. Anchoress 15:13, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You can listen to it HERE. Anchoress 15:16, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Should we really be linking to youtube stuff like this? It is probably a copyright violation. Carcharoth 17:15, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oops. I thought you linked to a youtube clip of the Office episode! :-) That's Gary Glitter! Still, the same youtube worries apply. See Wikipedia:External_links/YouTube. Carcharoth 17:22, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know, I'm just trying to help the original poster figure out the answer to her/his question. If you feel it's too risky or inappropriate, I won't oppose the deletion of the link, but on the other hand, I'm not sure if a short clip of a concert tape is a copyvio. But I don't have strong feelings about it and I'm certainly not trying to defend copyvios. Do whatever you feel is best. The youtube link was about fifth in the list of google results anyways, so the original poster could undoubtely find it themselves by following THIS LINK to my google search. That's a lot anchoress that's it exactly. --frothT C 18:39, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
NP, it's all part of the service. Anchoress 04:52, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
