Any DVD recording tool such as Nero Burning ROM, AnyDVD, DVD Shrink, etc. offers that feature. Take your time reading the software's documentation and you will easily find how to do so. --Sn0wflake 13:09, 7 April 2007 (UTC)=April 6=[reply]

Nero is used to make dvds with a pc; you don't need it with a player/recorder as it does it for you.

A dvd recorder formats/initialises the rw-disk in two ways: dvd-video to make a disk playable
in any other machine or dvd-vr which makes a disk editable and (usually) playable on another machine.

The recorder's setup menu is the place to look: a blank disk will be automatically formatted on insertion and you can change the setting by accessing the setup menu.
