1933 King Kong[edit]

Careful there. Copyright law is not always simple, and that statement isn't necessarily true in all countries. For that matter, the answer to the original poster's question may vary by country also. --Anonymous, February 28, 2007, 04:58 (UTC).

Are the heights of wwf wrestlers real or are they just exxagerations?What is meant by billed height?

And just to clarify, billed height refers to the height they are promoted as having, which may or may not be their actual height. In much the same way, a billed name or billed hometown would be those that the wrestler is promoted with. "Glen Jacobs" from "Knoxville" sounds much less threatening than his billed name and billed hometown of "Kane" from "Parts Unknown". -ByeByeBaby

The Gay Boys Dragon Hour[edit]

My Monty Python Page-A-Day calendar says on today's page that Monty Pythons Flying Circus was called The Gay Boys Dragon Hour in Japan. I can understand the "Gay Boys" part due to the definition of "gay" as happy or whatever. But I don't understand the "Dragon" part. Why was this thrown in? Why was the name changed at all? I'd assume it was a joke, and was never actually called that. IMDb has a list of titles it was known as in other countries ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0063929/releaseinfo#akas ) but it doesn't list Japan.

I know nothing about Japanese titles of Monty Python or any other British show, but The Gay (yes, homosexual) Boys Dragon Hour seems like exactly the sort of title the Monty Python gang might have chosen. Also, Monty Python's Flying Circus had one homosexual cast member (Graham Chapman) and there were numerous sketches about transvestites and homosexuals, like "The Lumberjack Song" and the Australian men sitting around a table all asking each other if they were a "poofta". The Japanese title of Monty Python's Flying Circus is Sora Tobu Monty Python (ja:空飛ぶモンティ・パイソン). 'Sora' means 'sky' and 'Tobu' means 'fly' (verb) in Japanese so it literally means 'Sky-Flying Monty Python'. I have never heard of The Gay Boys Dragon Hour. --Kusunose 01:37, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
