You are not using the word "famous" correctly. Aud Schønemann was born on that date. She was very famous as an actress, in Norway, and apparently Norway is the third largest oil producing country. Her birth was not a famous event however.--Shantavira|^{feed me} 17:47, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It must have been a slow news day. The best I can find is that the United States Supreme Court ruled that "the Japanese can not be citizens of this country."[1] (On a weird note, the diary entry of Howard Carter for that day was: "Two donkeys"[2]) Clarityfiend 05:13, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Looking for a link that I cannot remember, please help[edit]

The section on video games doesn't have an entry for a game with aprocedurally generated plot. I'm wondering if someone managed to make a game with random quests, like in Progress Quest, but that it connects somehow. — Daniel 02:10, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The closest I can think of are "sandbox" games like Sid Meier's Pirates that have a bunch of plot elements that the player can hit (or not) in any particular order. There's not really any over-arching plot in Pirates, though. APL 19:55, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, there is. The whole reason you as the character are there is to save your family from their evil kidnapper whose name now eludes me.
