Magic: The Gathering -- optimal number of basic lands[edit]

I have an M:TG deck (Time Spiral block constructed, if it makes any difference) with 38 permanents, average mana cost 0.42 red 0.66 blue 2.11 unspecified 3.18 converted; and 12 instants and sorceries, average mana cost 0.58 red 0.67 blue 2.25 unspec 3.5 converted; and no non-basic lands. What are the optimal numbers of islands and mountains for this deck, and who says so? How playable will it be with the 12 mountains and 14 islands it's got now? You'll probably get more (& better) feedback on a M:TG specific forum to be honest. Exxolon 23:31, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's not necessarily as simple as that. The optimal number and mix of lands depends heavily on the cost and color mix of the other cards that you're playing. Since I don't know what kind of deck you're playing, it's difficult to advise you in anyway (and, as Exxolon points out, you'll probably get better advice on a Magic specific forum). You might find this article a reasonable starting point to figure this out yourself. Carom 23:41, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Humourous song[edit]

Can someone identify an old humourous song please. In it the "narrator" returns home to find a group of girl scouts camped in his living room and they say they are moose hunters. -- SGBailey 08:05, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think I've found it myself - D'oh!. http://www.lyrics007.com/Big%20Head%20Todd%20And%20The%20Monsters%20Lyrics/Moose%20In%20My%20House%20Lyrics.html -- SGBailey 08:07, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Though another site suggests it is a song by Scott Laningham http://music.download.com/scottlaningham/3600-10606_32-100609668.html -- SGBailey 08:14, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
