December 1[edit]

Quantum of Solace[edit]

Why in Quantum of Solace, the gun barrel sequence is at the end of the film instead of the beginning of the film? David Pro (talk) 16:25, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think there is a specific reason why, just a decision on the part of the producers, perhaps to be different and break away from the traditional bond movie gun barrel sequence. SN0WKITT3N 17:49, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
My take is, these 1st 2 films are a Re-Start of the Series. There are small references made on the makings of 007., like the slow evolution of his Martini, and his quasi-womanizing. Maybe the point of showing the beginning at the end is to give us a heads up on the path this new series with Daniel Craig will be taken. Like, these 2 films were just a really long INTRODUCTION TO BOND. Now, the Mini-Series will begin. Maybe eh? Cheers, --i am the kwisatz haderach (talk) 18:47, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As of 2008, how many Spanish and English television series are filmed in Florida? Ericthebrainiac (talk) 18:47, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Transparency in football[edit]

I know most questions here are about movies and other things but it says sport questions are also welcome. Does anyone know how accessible archived information held by football associations is? I'm referring to records, rules and communications between FIFA and its member associations as well as between the member associations themselves. Any assistance would be much appreciated. Donek (talk) 19:44, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why not just ask the associations involved if they will give you the information you want? Algebraist 20:25, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have and I am waiting on a response. I was wondering if anyone knew what the average football fan is entitled to. Donek (talk) 20:37, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

FIFA have set rules for stadia regarding how far fans can be positioned away from the pitch both vertically and horizontally. - X201 (talk) 13:54, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If they are anything like other sports organizations, they are private and have no responsibility to provide any of that to any non-members if they don't want to. Recury (talk) 19:03, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
