March 6[edit]

Name of Norwegian song[edit]

(Moved from Wikipedia:Reference desk/Miscellaneous -- JSH-alive talkcontmail 15:01, 6 March 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Do you know the name of this ( http://cafe.daum.net/esong39/Ep0a/646 ) Norwegian song? I got the English name "As Small as Stars" but don't know Norwegian name. -- JSH-alive talkcontmail 06:00, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You would probably get a better response if you asked this on our 'Entertainment' desk. They are very good at that kind of thing. SteveBaker (talk) 18:48, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Here's the link. --Alinnisawest,Dalek Empress (extermination requests here) 02:13, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I was unable to get any sound from the site (after accepting a ton of cookies, I declined accepting an active-X download). So I'd like to help, but cannot. The translation doesn't ring a bell. --NorwegianBlue talk 20:43, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Muse cover[edit]

I heard a studio recorded song on Youtube of Muse playing a short song purely on guitar... It sounded like something from the 60's perhaps... Now I can't vouch if it was actually Muse but that's what the title and description said so, yeah.... Basically I want to track this song down but don't know the name of the song, original artist or anything about so if anyone has any idea it'd be muchly appreciated if you could shed some light the issue... Thankyou 81.34.29.247 (talk) 15:52, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have no idea but since the father of Muse's guitar player was in The Tornados, perhaps it was Telstar, which was also the inspiration for Muse's Knights of Cydonia. Adam Bishop (talk) 15:55, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Could it be Feeling Good? --Rixxin (talk) 17:28, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmmmmm. Unfortunately neither songs are it... Perhaps it was mislabelled on Youtube... Who knows... Cheers for your efforts though 81.35.160.200 (talk) 08:41, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Could it be Unintended? Sealedinskin (talk) 08:59, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The song "Luscious"[edit]

Back in October, I posted a question here about a song that went: "And there's a party going down at Reiland Drive/With lots of fine, fine girls/Who like to have fun with the girls/Who get the bestest of/Get the bestest of . . ." on my friend (we'll call her Sandy)'s ringtone. We concluded that it was by an unsigned band. Well, today Sandy was going through her ringtone menu and we learned that this song that accidentally got on there was called "Luscious". A search for songs called "Luscious" has only found one by Compulsory Skin. Where can I look for songs by title to find one titled "Luscious"? Wiwaxia (talk) 22:54, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In situations like this, Allmusic is often a good place to start. -- Captain Disdain (talk) 11:31, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
